New kettle

I like this one much better. No rust and it seems sturdier than the cheaper model. BUT, unfortunately I'm not trusting this one to keep on the wood stove. Cooked enamel in my tea is a no go. Sorry. Will buy an old fashioned castie for that.

ever kitchen needs a good kettle. i know many folx have settled on electric kettles because they seem to boil water faster but i prefer the ritual of boiling water on the stovetop. also, it doesn't take much longer than an electric kettle. the two-tone kettle is a great size and seems to be larger than the original kettle. i like the two tone color although i'm really fond of the eggshell and would love if these came out in single colors at some point. i hope to use this kettle for many years to come.

I love the vintage look of this kettle, I use it inside my house or out camping. It holds more than enough water and is super durable.
