This pattern says you need to buy the special tree skirt batting with it I did the first one with the special batting but found that I could do quite well with regular batting and use the pattern for a guide when I decided to make more for friends

Just be mindful that you need to purchase the batting to complete the tree skirt and it includes the template … very pretty!

Pattern is fine. I would like to have known that it requires a purchase of a preprinted batting to be able to piece it correctly.

This pattern cost more than most. And I was disappointed that it only covered a portion of the instructions to make a tree skirt. I missed the print that I had to order a template and printed batting. All total, the cost to make this skirt was $70. That being said, I do like how it turned out
