Beautiful bed but...

The instructions for assembly were difficult to understand -- basically 4 pictures with one being labeled "bed is assembled." Also had to purchase separate screws; one set of screws sent with the box were too short. Love the look of the bed and it does seem sturdy.

So many pieces! The instructions were not sufficient to put this bed together. I had to guess in several places and thankfully I'm pretty smart and have been putting furniture together for years. Although this bed is sturdy and beautiful, I doubt I would purchase this brand again because of the difficult assembly.

A solid bed!

This is a very sturdy bed of quality construction especially for the price. The color is more of a dark charcoal brown. Be ready...lots of assembly. Ours was missing two of the wood slats.

My husband and I bought this bed for the guest room in our lake house. It was pretty simple to assemble and it looks great. The room it is in is small and this bed is perfect in that it has an open feel to it that doesn't make the room look crowded.

I bought a Braxton bed for myself and then I bought this slightly different model for my mother. It's really nice for a small room because it is airy, especially since it's a platform bed and a box spring is not needed. Both Braxton beds were assembled very much the same. For the Braxton bed I bought for myself, the bed came with all of the screws needed and extra slats. This particular bed did not come with enough screws and came with the exact correct amount of slats. Except for being short of screws, it was easy to assemble.

This bed is sturdy and good quality for the price. The only reason I am giving this 2 stars is because it's not black - it's brown. It looks very brown in sunlight, a big diaspointment I noticed after putting it all together.

Although this bed is pretty to look at. It squeaks and moves with the slightest movement. Definitely not worth the money. I wouldn't recommend it. Very disappointed with this purchase.
