This shed met my expectations in all respects. It is the right size for my needs and of really good quality coupled with the installation which was professionally done

Never Received Shed

Purchased the Beachwood Shed through an on-line retailer. Paid in full. Never shipped, can't get any response from Handy Home or the retailer on when it might ship. It's been over 2 months. Will be filing a complaint with the credit card company for full refund.

Don’t let the lengthy instruction manual intimidate you. We assembled this shed ourselves with our three month old in toe, over the course of a weekend.

I purchased this shed, and it came 3 months later. 3 freaking months just horrible. I had to replace some of the 2x4s because they were unusable. It looks good but made with cheap materials.

NOT AN EASY PROJECT

I was build this myself and I am glad I didn’t. I hired someone to do it. He thought it would take him 3 days we are on day 5 and it is still not done. The instructions are horrible and not easy to read and are all over the place. The wood is not quality and some pieces were warped or twisted. He has had to make a lot of cuts to the wood in order for it to fit properly. Just thought a kit would be easier with having everything pre cut. I would not buy this product again.

Poor material quality, dimensions of the “precut” pieces were often wrong, bad structural design for the piecemeal plywood roof, instructions were atrocious and lacking necessary information. The whole design, material quality, and lack of necessary material to finish this stupid design has led to us dubbing this shed as “project stupid”. You’d be much better off just buying the materials and doing it yourself. I got it done in 2 days but it probably would’ve been quicker, easier, more structurally sound, about the same price, and higher quality with just building from scratch. Had to make a significant amount of modifications to the design to make the incoherent instructions work. Would not recommend. I made it work, but it was a lot of hassle to modify something that should have been ready to assemble.

We had purchased this item from Home Depot and the website said it would be shipped months out. You can imagine our surprise when a few days later we were told it was going to be installed that week. We still had construction to complete in a building next to the shed to finish first so we asked for a delivery date months later.

We bought our shed about a month ago and it is just what our backyard needed. The quality and workmanship are top notch. Besides being able to store our garden tools, bicycles, and plenty of storage space the shed adds charm and ambience to our little paradise. I DID NOT BUY THIS FROM HOME DEPOT

However, I did buy this exact product from another merchant that doesn't do reviews. This is in NO WAY a dig on Home Depot - but on the quality of the product provided. Mine was delivered on time, and I found a very reputable person to help me put this together. That said, I would say at least 40% or more of the wood provided for the product was warped, and unusable. I had to go and purchase more - and that was not just the 2x4's and such - that also included the strand board that was provided for the initial roof structure. Also, the pieces were not accurately cut and had to be adjusted and the final piece on the last wall needed to be approximately 30" and there were only 2 x 24" pieces left, which meant a "patch" job and an additional joist to screw them to. I ended up going to a local store and picking up a full sheet that we could cut to size.
