Love, love, love this pop-up screen room tent!. The last 2 spring and summer seasons have been extra “buggy” here in Northern California, and I literally had mosquitos biting me through my leggings on numerous camping trips around the Lake Tahoe area. At one point-pint I must have gotten at least 40 very itchy bites and I couldn’t handle another summer of scratching and swatting. I am soooo glad I decided to purchase this screen tent! It arrived very quickly and was so simple to set up alone.

Very Disappointed!

I didn’t get my item! Instead I received some sort of 6’ x 4’ beach tent with one completely open side!! I discovered this at the beginning of a camping trip where the mosquitoes were maniacal!!! I was counting on this item to save the day for my family and me if this ever happened but instead I’m left bitten all over and disgusted with the incompetence of Kohl’s…

I was surprised how easy it is to set up. It came in a small package about 18 inches square and I thought great it will fit under my van floor for traveling. I am disappointed that it is huge circle after I tried to close it down, it’s almost 4 feet wide, I was wondering why the storage bag was huge, I thought maybe they sent the wrong one. It takes up a lot of room and doesn’t fit in my storage area as I planned. I do like having the extra outdoor space it provided.

ABSOLUTELY GREAT!!

We tried many tents and gazebos, but nothing compares to this 6 x 6 that stops all the mosquitoes on our Penthouse deck. The others either couldn't survive the wind and weather or didn't meet our needs. This is set up a little under the eaves so it hasn't been affected by the rain or wind so far. Just bought another one with lots of lights to attach. Sent to a friend to buy for his deck also. Need one just a little larger 7 x 7 or 8 x 8. Love it. Great buy after all these years.

Love my little screen house...

I've had the 6'×6' screen house for a couple of months and really like it. Two Adirondack-style chairs with footstools fit perfectly. I bought the solid panels to go on the sides and they work beautifully to provide shade and a little privacy. We also have the aluminum pole to keep the top from sagging in the rain, which it does but we did need to tape it to keep it from closing so that could be better. We live in a townhouse complex where each of us has a small outdoor space, this fits nicely with a few plants to dress it up. Now, if you would offer an optional floor that would securely attach it would be perfect to use an outdoor play area for my pet too.

Couldn't Believe What a Buy

Besides, the ease of ordering, price, and quick delivery, I was so pleasantly surprised by the quality of the product. The Ease of setting up was mind-boggling after fighting with a supposed 10x10 pop-up by another mfg. I bought the 6x6.

Lovely get away place

I love my new 6x6 screen house. It was so easy to put up and take down. I put it on a beige tarp and used the hooks given to secure it all down. My granddaughter and I have decorated it and we play school inside with no bugs to bother us. Its also a nice to sit outside in the evening or late at night and watch the stars. Plenty of room inside and high enough for adults to stand up in. And the bag is a great place to keep it when not in use. I would recommend to my friends.

Awesome Tent

Bought this little guy (6x6) for my back yard pool area as we have a ton of mosquitos this year. It has enabled us to be outside comfortably and not be eaten up by the pests. I have been a tent camper, backpacker for most of my life. This tent is made very well, solid construction, sets up easily, and holds two people... and a pup. When this one wears out from sun abuse...I will buy another. Just love it. Nothing like reading outside late in to the evening. Happy Camper!

Perfect Meditation Tent

Even though this tent is not recommended for the roof, I have secured it and am delighted to use it every morning for a bug free, outdoor meditation session. I ordered the 6x6 tent which is a perfect size for my purposes. I secured a flannel backed tablecloth over the top because it is not "rain proof" and with early morning fog, there are droplets that penetrate the roof. This works fine. I have also hung a curtain to block the sun on one side. I'm very happy.

A very clever and usable invention

We marvel at how this product is designed. So easy and quick to set up, and to take down. Folded and in the bag, it stores in a narrow space between our bed and the back wall of our small motorhome. Plenty of room for 2 chairs/people with a small table, or over a picnic table at a campsite. No reason to buy any other heavier screen tent that takes up more room stored. We love it enough that we bought a 2nd one as spare!

Carrying Bag Wrong

I'm usually very pleased with Alvantor. Last year, I purchased the 12x12 screen house. This year I decided to add 2 more screen houses to my collection, for this Summer's various family events. Last week, my 10x10 screen house arrived, but it was enclosed in the 12x12 carrying bag. It looks horrible. Per the web site, it is supposed to be inside a smaller bag. I keep contacting Customer Service and are told different "stories" each time. I'm very disappointed.

Great little screen house

I got the 6x6 size. It popped open and up right away when I removed the belt that held it all together. Maybe I should have read the instructions beforehand!

Well made product

I was pleasantly surprised by how the screen was constructed. All the material was superior and the sewing and connectors were well made. However, I just put it up and I am thinking that the screen is so tightly constructed that it is too hot. If this is the case, I will have to return it. By eliminating the no-seeums, you may have eliminated air flow. I am sorry about this..it's not your fault. Set-up took 5 minutes. you have an excellent product.

This is a good tent!

be cautious when removing strap. I thought there were 2 straps. After tent boinged in my face, I knew I was wrong. The top will collect rainwater, also, caution when either pushing up on top, or just opening the door. You will get wet. I secured with the top ropes, seems to have alleviated the water collection, and I have stakes in the grommets on the base. Been too hot/rainy to enjoy it much, but I do like it. the screening seems to be clawproof, which is great. The bottom flaps also collect water, I have just turned them to the inside. It's pretty sturdy so far. And it is great for being outside, and not being attacked by bloodthirsty bugs. Oh, the bottom of the door has a raised flap, which is higher than one might expect. As I found out after tripping over it, and did a faceplant in the yard. Soft landing tho, but still kind of a shock. Operator error. The size is good, could fit 3 people in there, or one person and 3 cats. In a windy setting, beach, I'd secure the bottom guide ropes in addition to the top ropes. Looks kinda cool in the backyard...

simple setup, bigger than expected

Just arrived yesterday so I haven't had time to break it in and test it out but I will say it certainly is a hassle-free setup. I opened it in the backyard and lucky I did think to test its setup because it does not fold back into the same small spiral it arrived in. I'm guessing the manufacturer had to save on shipping by folding it as small as possible to ship to consumers but just know it does not fold and pack away that small again. I felt the dimensions given for it's folded form were a bit misleading, it's diameter is about forty-four inches. That being said I still stand by the high rating, although I can't remember if the description said the floor was to be included because it was not and I thought it would have been.

Gazebo is beautifully designed well made and very easy to put up. Hardly any work at all pops up right out of the bag. Love the zipper door entrance and the inside hooks to hang curtains (purchased separately). It also comes with a lovely storage bag while is well made. Purchased the 10x10, which is okay but not totally true to size. If wanting to repurchase again in the future, I’ll buy the 12x12. Otherwise, very good value, quality and comfort from pests.

Had this since April, put it up and even after minor winds it has broken in numerous places and not usuable. I took out extra warranty when i bought it but because the damage occured after 3o days I am not eligible for a refund. I am very dissapointed that the course of action is for a repair company to look at the gazebo and if they cannot repair it i may get a new one sent to us. Te problem is the gazebo is just not good enough and poorly made and I now have no gazebo and no point putting a new one up, it will just break again. wasted $800! why bother buying an extended warranty if the item becomes non usable and your not eligible for a refund due to defect.

Groovy Little Backyard Mosquito-Proof Tent

I bought the small one for 2-3 and I could fit a small dining room table and 2 chairs easily. I did buy a small fan because it can get stuffy in there in high temperatures. It keeps the mosquitoes out and allows me to sit and work outside. It was incredibly easy to set up; it basically set itself up--almost comically, it jumps out of the carrying case and unfolds itself in a matter of seconds, so beware! I didn't weigh it down with the sand bags and have had no problems with it blowing away, but I see that a few had that issue. Very pleased with it; high quality and easy to put up and take down; fits very nicely into the carrying case. My son is hankering after it because it's so portable and perfect, even though he mocked me when I initially ordered it ("what do you need that for"?).
