I wish I could have returned it

This is the first time that I have shopped online at Walmart.ca for furniture. If I had seen it in the store, I wouldn’t have bought it. It is very cheap material, one of the throw pillows is ripped, the cushions are thin and hard and the wicker part is falling apart. I do not recommend this product at all.

If you¡¯re considering, do it!

I was looking for something for awhile.. didn¡¯t want to spent 2k.. we are a younger couple, 29,32.. have a big inground pool, lots of parties¡ needed something to hold up to drunks, and more importantly, our many nieces and nephews¡ this surpassed my expectations. We squeezed about 8 of us on the couch, while it¡¯s not comfortable with 8 adults, it¡¯s doable to sit and hangout. It looks beautiful, it holds up against the rain, and wipes clean easily. So for the price, do it! Also, as a 29 year old female, I found it easy to put together. I¡¯d say it took me about an hour and a half tops. Once you make one, they¡¯re all alike. My only complaint which isn¡¯t even a complaint but more so an annoyance is that there is 3 boxes, labels 1/3, 2/3, 3/3¡ you¡¯ll open 1/3 first and find the instructions, however you¡¯ll find that you need pieces out of 3/3 for the first steps, so your digging in 3 boxes for your pieces which again, easy, but not convenient.

Great value for the money- YES-only 3 small boxes!

Looks exactly as pictured online-and I was terribly worried when I read the reviews that it would be terribly small-it is small appearing, but e trembly comfortable. I have bad knees and am 5’7” and my knees are at a 90 degree angle when I sit-and I don’t have to fall into it or anything. I bought a living room couch on another site from China-and it was awful-so my expectations were very low-and I’m pleasantly surprised. It’s very nice looking-comfortable and seems to be put together well. I haven’t taken the plastic off of the pillows yet, because we are buying a gazebo to cover the deck. Great value for the price. I was concerned when the first two boxes arrived bc they seemed awfully small to hold all of this furniture. It took my husband about 2 hours to put together-and we were missing 2 washers-but were able to find some at home that fit-luckily. It’s put together with an included Alan wrench. Good value for the price. I think I may dye the fabric though-as white with 3 lap dogs-1 Rottie and 2 chihuahuas-I don’t think I s very safe!!

DON’T BUY THIS!

Took me 4 hours to put together with the alan wrench provided. None of the parts were labled so I had to guess by the horrible pictures provided in the instructions packet. This also was missing the pieces that hold the sections together. They slide all over the place! Im so unhappy with the size and color of cushions. The back is made for an elf! Probably is only 8-10 in high and doesn’t support your back at all! Not comfortable for me, my husband or kids. I ordered cream white and got yellow tinted cream color, its awful. The ratan was oily and had pieces falling out of each section. The cushion is only held together with a loop and toggle design which is not practical for something people sit on and off of. Not to mention super cheap looking (in person) and scratchy material. The only good thing was that it came fast, and in only 3 boxes. Other than that, don’t waste your money!

Outsunny 7 piece set

Super easy to move around/arrange. Perfect size for our space (10x16 deck). Decent pad thickness (about 2 inches) and it is firm. The elastic ties keep cushions in place pretty well (I doubled up on where the ties attach to hold them tighter) Instructions are sparse but easy to put together (could be improved by just marking pieces with a sticker (piece A, B, C) and the Ratchet wrench is helpful! The cushion material is water resistant vinyl type covering-easy to clean too and I think will hold up well to being outdoors but we did get a cover for the pieces (note-love seat cover at 55 inches will cover two pieces-save money by getting couch or loveseat covers (3) vs individual chair covers (6). The packages came earlier than expected-yay! However they came in two shipments 3 days apart-strange, a little frustrating but the world did not end. There were some notable scuff/scratch marks on one chair in particular but there are also long pieces of the plastic rattan on the inside of many of pieces so I trimmed one off and used it to cover the defect. I will say the back of the chairs hit me in the middle of my back and I was worried they would be uncomfortable for myself ( 5’ 6”) and hubby (6’ 4”) but once you put some pillows behind you or rest it on the top of the chair (As it butts up to a wall) it solves that problem. I am really pleased for the price. It is not perfect but have figured out some solves to make it feel pretty awesome. I did a lot of searching and overall I am pleased!!!

I love the rattan. Hate the cushions/attachments!

The furniture came in three packages. Two were delayed due to the worldwide lockdown right now. It took my husband and me about two hours to assemble. Make sure you have a drill with an Allen wrench bit attachment, or you’re going to struggle. I love the rattan! It’s a good size, good quality and sturdy. The chairs do slide away from each other. It would be good if there was someway to connect or lock them together in a way that you could still change the seating arrangement. I hate the cushions!! They are an extremely cheap, polyester fabric and they connect to the rattan with loose, cheap elastic and plastic knobs. And, they arrived with a few stains already on them. The inner foam/batting is also a very cheap, polyester fiber. Unfortunately, I am going to have to purchase better cushions with a custom upholster, as Outsunny doesn’t sell any other cushion options. I am happy enough with the rattan to do that, but it defeats the value of this purchase.

I purchased this patio set even after reading the reviews about the height of this set being very low and made for toddlers. The overall height of this set is 24.5" which is pretty low and when standing the top of the chair came to right above my knee and I'm 5'11", the sitting height with the cushion on it is right at 16". The chairs are actually large and a good size but they sit very low. I made an agreement with Overstock that if I ordered it and the heights were unacceptable that they would split the return fee with me in which they agreed to. Well once I put one of the chairs together and realized how low they were instead of the hassle of returning the 3 large boxes I looked on the internet and found an item called slipsticks risers which are 2" wide and 2" height that easily screw into the existing holes at the patio chairs base. Just by removing the small knobs/feet on the patio chairs and replacing them with the 2" risers the chairs now sit at an overall height of 26-27" and the sitting height is now about 18" high which is about the height of an office chair. the risers come in sets of 4 from Walmart and are $10 so I had to purchase 7 sets for $70. Seems a bit like overkill but the patio set is very nice and looks great except for the height and the $70 spent to raise the chairs in my eyes was cheaper than what it would have cost me to ship the patio set back to the vendor. So overall I rate this set 3 1/2 stars, the look and quality of this set gives it 5 stars but due to the height of the set which is fine now since adding the 2" risers they lose 1 1/2 stars. I hope this helps future buyers of this item...
