Getting the hose properly aligned into the reel to get it to wind properly was a bit of a challenge.

Love a great hose holder

I already have one of these and wanted a second one for the back of the house. The colors go with our home and it holds a lot of hose. It works the hose back and forth as it reels it back in. We love the first one and it has been great for the last couple years that we wanted a long hose on the back spigot, but most other reels were not as nice at winding or holding more than 100 ft of hose.

Company don't stand behind there product

Bought this with my hard earn money and the handle wouldn't stay locked. I complained to Suncast the maker and they sent a replacement handle. When I received it, it was all scratched up on the part where your palm goes and it's rough on your hand and looks ugly. I complained about it and the company said since it works and spins they won't replace it. What kind of company doesn't thrive for perfection of there product or happiness of a customer. I won't be supporting this company. What a shame because other than that it was a good hideaway hose roller.

Exactly what I was looking for! Good quality and should hold up for years to come!

A Must Have if you want to save $$$

We have several of theses cabinets and have saved hundreds of dollars over the years in not having hoses destroyed by the sun. The tops on these cabinets are the weak points they easily snap off when you are lifting the lid and its windy (but is easily snapped back in place). We house 200' in one cabinet and can add another 50' to it if needed.

This Hideaway Hose Assembly exceeded my expectations. The brass fitting prevents any leakage. Our previous product leaked so much, we had a constant puddle in our grass. I also love how quickly the hose reels back. Definitely would recommend this product!

Had these units for years and hose attachment is always the weak point due to movement of unit. Brass fitting should help

Great reel for heavy rubber hose

I was looking for a hose reel for my 100' Craftsman rubber hose. When I loop it on a hanger, it twists and is very difficult to place back. This allows me to pull it straight out and wind easily back in. I also like now the rewind guide winds the hose onto the reel. It hasn't shown any leaks so far either.

Love it! We have two Suncast that have lasted many years and love that the hose rolls up without having to guide it by hand.

Great hose reel

Works well for my purposes. Needed something for the front of the house that went with the design and was pleasing to the eye going by.

I bought four of these for my five acre property. Over many years I have owned these products and been happy with them. Hauling hoes around and having to coil and uncoil them is a real pain. These hose boxes solve all those problems Not only are they practical but they look great in the yard and protect the hose itself.

It's a nice product, and I like the smart trak. The only complaint I have is that the screws on the hinges for the lid kept coming out, so the lid wouldn't stay on. To remedy this, I used zip ties instead of the screws on the hinges.
