This is not as sturdy or heavy duty as was pictured. the parts are VERY THIN AND LIGHTWEIGHT. It certainly WON'T work for my garden tool etc, I doubt it will be good enough for a toy box. Very disappointed 😞

I am deeply disappointed regarding my recent order placed on May 6, 2024 for this container.

Sure wish I wouldn’t have bought this. Wayfair, take it off your site! My hubby is trying to put it together now, & the bottom doesn’t even click together. Flimsy & cheap..guess I should’ve known by the price. He’s now having to drill/screw it to hold the bottom on. Even then, the bottom is thin; prob won’t hold much as it says. First thing I’ve ever been disappointed in with Wayfair. Don’t buy!!

These are more than perfect! I purchased 2 of them, not realizing how large they were until I opened the box. They were easy to assemble less than 15 minutes of my time, and great for my and my son's camping gear storage use. Second unit is mine and use for storage of our picnic equipment and more. Very satisfied with Way fair shipping time, received these in two days! Amazing, thank you WayFair.....

The box arrived and half way through I notified a piece of plastic. The top was broken for the hinge. I sent the pictures back and now they only offer a 25% discount or I need to take it all apart and then return it on my dime for a replacement or refund -the return fee. I just want a new top for the box! And they offer 10% just for the review.

Flimsy. Very disappointed. Wayfair always has a high standard on the products they sell sadly this didnt. So cheap, lightweight. I dont like returning anything so my husband will reinforce it. Wed hoped to use for our barbecueoutdoor items but it doesnt seem leak proof. Not worth the price nor the time putting it together.

I got this thinking it would b the perfect thing to keep on my front porch for my husbands car stuff in. Air compressor, tools, etc, and it is ok for that but it’s not as tough as I thought it would b. It’s very flimsy. It does have a latch where you can put a lock but still, it feels very cheap made. It wasn’t hard to put together at all. It serves the purpose. Just wished I would have gotten one that’s a little more better made.

The dimensions are wrong. It says is it 47" but it is only 44". I purchased this thinking it would fit perfectly into a specific space and now there is a 3" gap. The plastic is very thin and stiff so if you put something too heavy or try to cram too much into it, the unit will crack. Once it is filled, you will not be able to pick it up and move it or it will fall apart. It is only being held together by some shallow interlocking pieces. I got this for a spare room indoors, I would be very cautious using this outdoors. The lid does not close tightly and there is no clasp. You need to use a padlock to keep it closed. This unit might be good for storing pillows. This is definitely a cheapy unit.

This is a horrible product. The panels do not snap together securely as it should. Despite following the instructions to the t, it is not sturdy at all. The lid will not close properly. It just rest open, unleveled. If I were to move it slightly, the panels WILL fall apart. Do not buy.

I really wanted to like this deck box but can’t in good conscience give it a good review. I read some of the other reviews before purchasing and saw that some people had problems assembling. I thought surely I wouldn’t have the same issues. I was wrong. Thin plastic and we could not get the tabs to line up and stay in place. I ended up returning it, unfortunately.

just needs to be upgraded to water-proof ! and a bit thicker to hold more weight on top. i used caulking on all of the mating places of the panels before assembly. then used clear silicone on all of the outside seams. i patched the holes on the end panels for ventilation & where the wheels would go if they to make it water-proof. i could make it stronger but would like better to buy one that is well made to start with ! ! !

These deck boxes are very similar to storage tubs w lids, except thinner/flimsy. Easy to put together, if done correctly they should be waterproof. We’ll see. The wheels are only on one side and do not make it easier to maneuver around. It’s fine for what I needed them for, and the bottom is holding the weight. Unfortunately, it’s not something I’d put on my deck or let guests even see them. You definitely can’t use them for a seat like many other deck boxes. They really should be called Lightweight Storage Tub Deck Box w Lid. The only difference is you don’t have to put a storage tub together.

The box is a poorly made thin cheap material. It bows straight from the box. This does not allow for it to connect and stay together. The box is not even or leveled due to the lack of stayomg together and bowing keeping the lid from shutting properly. I ordered 2 when they were on sale and will return the 2nd one, I would have returned box had I not already been half way through attempting to put the one together and already removed from the box. There is not a way to use these outdoors and there are gaps between the bottom and sides due to the bowing. It os now currently being used as a linens container.

For the price, it's ok. The key is that there's no mention of "heavy duty" on this item. It's totally fine for storage; but you can't sit on it. Very flimsy, with no way to support even a small person to sit on it. I know that's not what they're designed for; but heavy duty might be the way to go if you want something sturdy to store things. Again, it will do the job storing, but I'd be wary of moving it with a full load inside.
