Love em! I have them on the border between my brick patio and the lawn. They are super bright at night and look great. It is nice to have them flush with the ground so I don't trip over them. I haven't mowed yet, but it appears they won't be an issue.

Very Cool. I love lighting up my yard. I have many plants and this is my way of showing them off. We have regular outdoor lighting but these allow me to focus on a special area. Of course you can use them to light up a walkway as well. The are nice and bright and I highly recommend them.

A good solution for an unlighted path. Haven't yet installed as I have some landscaping to do first. Like the looks of the lights, looking forward to being able to install them. Good price, well packaged, fast delivery. Sticking with 4 stars since I've yet to test them out.

terrible

There are many reasons these are terrible. The first being that the plastic spikes you use to put these in the ground are VERY thin, and the first one broke only a couple weeks after using. They dont seem to hold up in the rain. They do not stay turned on for longer than one night. You will have to constantly go out before dark and turn each one on individually and they do not stay on. Its also difficult to tell if youve turned it off or on because you cant see the ON label. This was a quick waste of money. If this product were upgraded to stay on permanently with better plastic and more water resistant they may habe something here. But for now, DO NOT BUY. Its just a waste of money.

Cheaply made

A squirrel tipped one of these over and broke the chintzy plastic and now it won’t fasten back together. That was when they were only two weeks old. In order to see the light you have to move these to an angle… it will look dark if you have them pointing straight up. The light doesn’t even form a beam when they are straight up, it just looks dark. I’d keep looking for a product like this.. but don’t choose this product. I only took a chance because they were priced affordably.

Cannot be securly mounted on a hard surface

Bought these based on reviews and questions answered on the Canadian tire app. these cannot be mounted on a hard surface such as a deck board, steps, patio bricks or concrete sidewalk. there is no way to fasten them to these surfaces except for maybe glue or epoxy which will make it impossible to remove them without damaging either the product or the surface.

Beautiful yard decoration with powerful light.

Easy to install. They just press down into the (wet) ground. If you want them to lay flat, dig down 1.5 inches with a garden trowel first. Here is a photo I took in the rain. I used these to line the edges of my basketball court. I ordered quan (2) 4-packs of lights. One out of the 8 lights did not work. I took it apart and one of the tiny wires is not soldered to the battery pack. I'll repair that, easy.

They work perfectly. My only complaint is that the plastic spikes are a bit flimsy. Of the 20 lights I purchased in total, one of the spikes cracked and another broke when inserting into regular soil.

Very bright solar lights

Very bright solar lights. I added a set of four around the perimeter of our fire pit and they do a great job of illuminating the transition from gravel to grass, and also add a nice ambience. They were simple to install, did not take a long time to charge (provided good light the first evening but were only installed in the afternoon) and they seem to stay lit a good long time. The area where they are installed receives dappled sunlight, not direct sunlight, yet it does not seem to negatively impact the performance of these lights.

I really liked this at first. However, it’s been a few months now and they are not all still working. Those that are, are good. Not sure what to do with the ones not working.

I'm using these as back lighting on a balcony. Works well for that application. I have seen a very similar item that has 8 LED and have ordered some to compare brightness. There may be a product which is better suited if a brighter lighting affect is what you are looking for. EDIT - I got a set of similar disks that had 8 LED at twice the price and was surprised that these 4 LED disks were brighter. Maybe the 4 LED disks do not have to draw as much power so are brighter. Just wanted to pass this information on about my comparison experience.

Amazing outdoor solar lights!

I bought these exact lights 6 years ago. They were placed in my front yard and for six years straight, they shone super bright and pure white. In the 100 degrees of August and under snow and sleet, these lights are worth it. I just moved and decided it was time to have new ones and more of them! (I purchased two packs of 4). You will not be let down with this purchase. Even on cloudy days, they draw in enough solar power to work all night!

Great Quality Product!!!

This bell + howell 4 led round disk lights has made a great addition to my yard. I used to on my steps leading to my front door so I could see them better at night. The other 2 I used in the pathway leading to my steps. It worked perfect for both areas. I lack light in these areas and these lights gave me what I was needing .

Efficient

I have to say this are so efficient in my opinion. I got this to light my outdoor porch and also in case of a power outage. Always handy to have some sort of solar power lights. And this don't disappoint. I love that they're waterproof and you can turn them on automatically or manually and the power last up to 10 hours and it's free. My electric bill doesn't go up like crazy. This are definitely a must and easy to set up in your outdoor or indoor around outdoor decorations.

I recently started Shopping at Wayfair and my first purchase was for light fixtures , the fixtures were fine but the light bulbs were missing . I received $23.00 credit for that because it was a miss print on the item .

Great Lights!

I really like the bell + Howell LED round disk lights. They came with 4 lights and 4 stakes to put in the ground. The directions said to place them in direct sunlight for so many hours before using so I did as directed. I wanted to make sure they'd work right. They were easy to put stakes on and give off a decent amount of light. For personal preference I put them in the ground after it rained so they would be easier to put in. Which it was as expected. So far I'm very happy with them and plan on getting more!

Great quality

The Bell + Howell 4 Led Round Disk Lights - 4 Pack are a really nice set of lights. My wife has decided to have a garden this year, so these were a nice addition. Assembly is really easy, took less that minutes to attach the stakes. There's a switch on the bottom so if you want the lights off, you can manually switch them off. The lights are LED, so they light up the area really well, and they stay lit all through the night. We have had some pretty decent rainstorms here and these stakes have really taken a beating but they glow just as bright as they did on the first day out of the box!

Should last a while

I was quite impressed with these. They're well constructed to keep moisture out. The on/off switch is behind rubber, there's a rubber o-ring sealing the battery compartment, and most of the electronics are sealed in the resin-like top with the solar panel. The battery is a replaceable AA rechargeable, so when it eventually loses its charging capacity, you can swap it out. These measures should ensure the lights last a good while and don't end up in the trash by the end of the year. They provide a nice bright light that lasts well on the battery. Not sure how long a charge lasts, as I haven't seen them run out yet!

Amazing Lights!

I recently obtained these solar powered disk lights and I am totally stoked with them. They are super sleek in design. I chose to place them just below my outside front windows to give my home a much desired look. I notice my neighbors stop and look trying to figure out the source of the lights. What is best is that they are care-free I simply staked them to the ground and that was it. They are ment to last 10 years and ten hours of light, perfect for these summer night. We chose the set them to turn on automatically when it gets dark. At first I was concerned that the would get ruined if I got them wet. However I found out they are waterproof, so I don't have to worry about getting them soaked when I water my rose bushes which are right next to them. Over all they are a gret product and highly recommend them.

I have a small, dark area right before you reach my porch light and if I've forgotten to leave the porch light on when I leave home, the step up to the deck can be a little rough, especially if there is left over ice. These little disks provide enough light to safely get onto the porch without tripping or wondering where the edge of the step is. They do it without a glaring light.
