I’ve had the lights for less than 2 months and already one of the lights seems to be malfunctioning. No longer providing bright lighting. I will change rating to POOR if the light stops working. Any help to address issue would be appreciated.
This product will last between 6 months to less than a year. Not waterproof to me! One of the disc light out of 4 in a pack did not work. Recharged it & it was defective. If you buy these items, and you get lucky to get a pack that’s not defective, then you luck out. I feel like I am always buying these items every year because it does not last a long time. I wish I can find a better brand that is more reliable. I like the design of this but the quality is cheap!
They are plastic bottom melts leaves marks
I have almost identical lights but with 4 leds each. Left them in sun for first test on top of small table and by end of one day in sun the bottom black coating on disk light melted stuck to and marked the top of the table black. Bad finish coating. No do not recommend.
Poor quality
I bought a four pack in the summer of '22 and the lights performed well. Here in southern Ontario, I put them away in storage over the winter. I pulled them out this spring and one didn't work at all, and the other three had LED's already rusted and not working. I took them apart and found rusted contacts and loose wiring. Good product if you can keep them DRY I guess??
Don’t waste your money on these lights
These lights are horrible. After being out in bright sunlight all day seven of the eight lights that I am using I have stopped illuminating by about 9 PM. It doesn’t get dark where I live until around six. They put off very little light and are basically a waste of money. I would not recommend these lights to anybody.
Does not perform completely
Have not had the chance to fully test them since getting them for Christmas as there has been no sun. So so far they do not burn very long nor are they very bright. Sometimes in complete darkness for hours they come one as if on a timer and light for a short time before going dark again. Will have to see what and how they perform in the summer months and direct sun
Love them!
I bought these last spring in 2021. They’re so easy to set up & the impact in the garden beds are so pretty. I like that I lights up our garden pathway without sticking out. We got many compliments from neighbours. We left them out all throughout winter & even when the cold, if there was no snow on them it would still light up. They’re little champions. I am saddened that someone stole them early this spring. I want to replace it but I will wait for them to go on sale again.
Not worth the money.
I liked the look of them and they complimented my garden area nicely. They only worked for a short time. I thought maybe they needed new batteries. When I removed the back of them everything was covered in rust. Water actually leaked out when I opened them. The batteries were covered with rust too but they had not leaked. Now these were supposed to be waterproof but obviously they are not. I would like a replacement or my money back but I’m sure that isn’t going to happen. My dollar tree solar lights lasted longer than these!!

Last year in June of 2020 i purchased 3 4pks of the disc lights for my walkway. Initially they were great gave off good light and didn't have to keep moving them. As summer moved along some stopped working here and there at end of season i picked them up and turned them off and put in storage. This march when i took them out i turned them on and placed in sun for 2 weeks and only 1 out of 12 was working. So i opened one up to see what the issue was to my surprise it was rusted and still had water in it. As in the description it says water and rust proof was not expecting to see this. Of course the warranty is only 180 days so i basiclly through away $100 bucks for 3 months of light. Looks great but doesn't last!
4 Disk Solar Lights
I purchased these lights and was happy for a short time. The push in the ground plastic leg was cheap and they only lasted a short time. When I went to put in new batteries the inside had rusted. Very disappointed. These are made for outdoors and they should be able to stand the rain. The little ground stake does not allow it to sit above ground, so it has to be pushed into the dirt. Very disappointed. Would never recommend.
Awful product
After 3 months some lights stopped working. Took apart and lo and behold completely soaked, rusted out, battery connection all rusted and broke when trying to re charge battery.
I am a loyal Wayfair shopper and have had only positive experiences with my purchases... until now. I bought one 4-pack of these solar lights to see if I liked them and see how well they worked. They arrived and we put them in our garden. They looked great and gave off good light. I bought several more 4-packs. Within a few weeks they started to shut down. (No difference in the amount of sun exposure or placement - they just stopped working!) Here we are now at the end of the first summer and not one is working. What a total waste of money. I rarely write reviews but felt I had to add my voice on this product. Love the look of these lights with their stone border
Not waterproof
I set those directly on a rock bed and did not use the included standoff post. I assumed they were waterproof as the switch was sealed in a latex "glove". All 4 were subject to the once a week sprinkler. At no time did the bed flood where the lights might get submerged. Three of them went out after a month. The insides were totally rusted to where the wiring to the battery disintegrated.
Landscaping discs are not worth a purchase.
Two of the four discs arrived broken. These discs are cheaply constructed. The LED caps are held in place by what appears to be a type of glue that doesn't hold. I would not recommend these. Very disappointing and I will return these and not be requesting replacements. The quality control of vendors Overstock contracts with is slipping. I have recently placed orders for other items and those also were not acceptable. The lights had parts missing and it is a nightmare dealing with that vendor. It looks like *** will continue as my top choice.
EXTREMELY DISSATISFIED
I am giving one star for because when these worked, they emit good light for a lightweight solar light. My issue is the mechanical construction quality and lack of longevity on this product. I made a purchase seven months ago of about 14 lights. Issues: 1) Six to seven months later (2020), seven of the lights have gone out. 2) to replace batteries is difficult with tiny four tiny screws (required precision screwdrivers and lots of work) 3) inside mechanism is flimsy metal and rusts easily as compared to other outdoor solar lights. 4) these lights were placed in garden area that DID NOT require watering so rust came from natural moisture in air or rain. Of course, I did not keep the packaging and there's a 90 day return policy by Walmart. I'm extremely disappointed in B
[Rewarded Review] Nice Added Touch Of Light
I added these Outdoor Solar Disk Lights in the Slate Rock color to my palm tree planters. Not so much for added light but just for an added look. I do like the setting they make glowing up at the palm trees in the planters. I did get the slate rock color so I will add some stones in the pots & the lights will be camouflaged in the planters for a nicer day time look.
[Rewarded Review] Bell & Howell Solar Light Discs
These are really cute solar lights that have a stone type look and keep a decent charge for most of the night(mine are lasting about six and a half hours before the they need recharged). They come with ground stakes to keep them in place or you can just set them wherever without the stakes. I'm using them along my sidewalk just for aesthetics and they light up the path partially and not overly bright which I like very much because they won't attract insects. I'm very pleased with their quality, even though, I had to mess around a bit with one to get it to light the first time but it's working fine now and I think it was just from dust that blew onto it while charging them outside. I recommend them and will definitely look for more to line my entire sidewalk.
Works fine/Nice Style
These work if used properly, meaning give them the right sun exposure for several hours. Like that they have 8 LED lights in each disk. They’re bright but not a blazing light. Don’t expect floodlight quality, of course. Just right for a dark driveway. I like them because I think having more lights in front of my home makes for better security overall. I also like that they can lie flat because I live in a windy area and other solar lights didn’t always stay in place. The “stone†coloring style looks sleek and modern. Only drawback is the price, just seems kind of steep for only 4 in a pack. (I ended up buying 3 separate packs to fully cover my driveway length.)
[Rewarded Review] Solar lights
The solar landscaping lights let off a very nice “daylight” color light. I was extremely surprised with how well they lit up and was already looking online to buy more (only received 4). I have had the lights installed for about 3 weeks now, and unfortunately one of them is already really dim. I am wondering since the leaves have grown on the trees that it receives a lot less light now, than it did before. My concern is that it does not receive less light than before because the other three lights are within a three foot radius of each other and work great. Another downfall is the stakes that you drive them into the ground with are very flimsy (my ground is pretty soft). I would definitely buy more if they all continued to work well for a period of time (at least 2 years). At this time only 3 of the 4 work well for me ☹
[Rewarded Review] Looks amazing!
We recently added Bell + Howell Semi-Flush Mount LED Landscape Lighting as an accent to our stone walkway. The lights look almost like little stones themselves. Semi-flush so they can sit slightly above the surface area where they are placed. The lights are wireless and solar powered so they are easy enough for anyone to use without any electrical knowledge. The assembly is super simple. Just snap together the pieces to form a stake then place them almost anywhere. It's really that easy.
