Love it so far--but admit I am not used to a stainless steel sink and have to get used to water spots. I had a ceramic double sink before, so this is a new experience. Love the deep, larger sink and rounded corners. I knew I didn't want other sinks that have the sharp squared corners, as I thought those would be more difficult to keep clean. It seemed to install easily by our counter top installers. This sink was recommended to me by the counter top company. Delivery was speedy--even early, with no damage to box or sink, was well packed.

It fit the hole!

Had an undermount sink in a giant slab of granite. The edges were rounded, and really no undermount sink I could find would fit in the 30.125" x 16.25" hole. I considered a drop-in, but with the rail mount most sinks use, it would reduce the usable size of the sink by 4+ inches in both dimensions. This Houzer not only (barely) fit the hole, but since the brackets are welded to the sink tub -- and not a rail mount on the flange like other drop-in sinks -- I only lost about 0.25" each way!

I love this sink! It is gorgeous. I spent a lot of time looking for a sink to fit into my 1950's small non-standard size house. My countertops have a shorter depth and finding a sink to fit in the dimensions close to the old rusted white enamel one took a lot of hunting. This is a little deeper which is great and the grid rack that's included is extremely useful as well as beautiful. It was a very good value as compared to the many sinks I looked at. I am so glad I didn't have to settle for a much smaller one just to make it fit. It is sound-proof and has a good weight to it. No scratches so far and I'm not over-gentle with it. The best purchase I made in my kitchen makeover by far. The rounded corners make it very easy to clean.

Had to return the First

The first sink was so bowed it could not be clamped down to the counter and had to be returned and reordered. The second was much better but still had to really clamp down to meet the counter. Check your order very carefully.

While installing the sink, one of the clips that secure the sink broke. By that time, I had already applied sealant and found it impossible to pull the sink out. Would require a new countertop. So the sink doesn’t sit tight to the countertop. Had to fill gap with more sealant.
