these lights did not work with our kitchen, we needed something darker and thicker. Thank goodness for Overstock.com they let me exchange it to the new selected ones

I purchased this Light for the entryway to the basement apartment. Its on the inside of a stairwell. It sets the tone for the entire basement apartment. I love it with the lightbulb that we packed too (The lightbulb is not included). It was very easy to install. It came with a regular plug that you can plug into an outlet. If you do not need this you can shorten the chain and trim the plug off so that you have the correct length. Love this light I would highly recommend it!
