Will scratch tefflon. Look for another if you intend to use in coated pots.
We ordered this to replace our old steam basket. It opens and closes OK, but the bottom has three rough posts that are supposed to be the legs I guess. This will scratch any teflon coated pans. I can only use it on non-coated pans. I would not have purchased it if I knew it had these kinds of legs.
