3.5 at best - it gets the job done

The desk with the drawers and hutch took over 2 days to put together. Two of the decorative edgings have holes drilled incorrectly so if I put them on, the drawers would not open. Although I can still use the desk as is, I have to request new parts and wait for them to come in before completing construction. There is no protection of the most visible components, so although I acknowledge that it is my own fault for not ensuing the floor was completely free of debris, there are permanent scratches on the desktop and the edge of the desktop from having it upside down during construction. Once assembled, I do like the size and look of the desk and it feels solid. The "back" of the desk is a little confusing...the desktop has a decorative arched edge that looks nice, however, I purchased the hutch so once that was in place, the white backing with exposed nails makes the back look cheap and unappealing. Either the back of the hutch has to be covered or be placed against a wall, which doesn't make any sense with an arched desktop edge. Less

Great desk but needs better assembly instructions.

The assembly instructions could have been clearer with regards to left and right sides, especially with the drawers. In fact, I still have one drawer that won't fit (it keeps hitting something) and I need to take it apart so determine the problem. It took two people many attempts to complete the last instruction, i.e. putting the top on the sides. It was almost impossible to get things to line up. That said the desk is exactly what we were looking for and we happy with the finished product.

Installation instructions could have been

Installation instructions could have been better. Very little written instruction and some diagrams could have showed more detail. I had to really study some of the images with a magnifying glass to fully understand…and I am an engineer. One of the cam devices broke and I had to add a spacer with a screw to square the pedestal to the desk. You can't see it. Just before I received the desk it went on sale for about $ 300 less than I paid. That was disappointing. Desk has a lot of pieces. All the pieces fit and lined up OK.

Misrepresenting the product

I put a 3 star for mispresenting the product. The desk itself is worth a 5 star for a quality. We love it!!! Its very nice looking, sturdy, and modern. The delivery service is ok. This is second time I ordered a desk, but this time for myself ( white and gray color). The issue is the desk white and gray color is not rectangular like the first one in cherry and gray color. The pict. on the website was not showing clearly that the top of the desk is curved. Also the description never pointed out that the top of the desk is curved, and the measurements of the top of the desk are based on rectangular not curved one. Just be aware of the curve. I was disappointed to find out it is curved, but it was too late because my husband already spend 8 hours to put it together, and the top of the desk was a last thing. We couldn't return it, it will coast a money and we have to take it apart first. It wasn't worth it ! So we kept it. If it is not a big deal for you like it was for me , I'm very recommending this desk. Less

Very Functional

For the money this is a nice desk. I actually bought two, one with the hutch and one without. These are very functional. It is a bit of endeavor trying to put them together, but worth it in the end.

Unexpected

I bought this to attach with the matching desk and pedestal. Unfortunately the picture is deceiving as one section of the desk top is curved so it cannot go against a wall. This resulted in us having to cut the desk top to it. Assembly was challenging and the drawer sliders continuously fell off so we had to glue them down. Would have sent it back but was partially assembled and very heavy.

Decent home office value

Looks like the photos, nice neutral pallet. It was pretty easy to assemble, I do construction so I have, and am familiar with the tools required. Not a quick and easy assembly for an inexperienced person trying to do it alone. So far it seems durable for the long term, as a light duty office system/ home office.

Beware! This does not have a rectangular desk top! It has a curved front, so if you are putting it up against a wall you will be really upset. There is no picture clearly showing the curved front of the desk. Other than that the desk appears to be servicable. Now I will be cutting the top of the desk so it will fit flat against a wall. *** for something that will look like it came from the dump.

Very nice desk

I love the look and the colors of my new desk. It looks perfect with my newly remodeled office. It is sturdy and it is made of good materials. It is hard to assemble and it is very heavy. You would need help to move it. Dont like the position of the cord hole because the cords show, so I don't understand the purpose of it. The delivery people were rude

These are very utilitarian durable desks. We have three in our Street, Grounds and Code Enforcement Suite. We also have two others slated to go in our Garage/Maintenance suite.

Terrible Quality

I was extremely disappointed in this product. The material and overall quality is terrible. It feels as though it could fall apart at any moment. 3M tape was supplied to keep the hutch attached- this is unacceptable. I would never purchase from this company again.
