The Murphy bed is excellent. Very good quality. Quite heavy and took a bit of time to put together. But worth it. Looks great in the space. Exactly what we needed and wanted

Assembled this on my own during my free time. Took awhile, but assembly instructions are pretty straightforward. Some holes that were supposed to be predrilled were missing, but seemed to be minor hassles. It bothered me more making adjustments to overall layout, but not the products fault, since my walls and floors werent levelled square. Very happy with how it looks now, time will tell if the pullout desk and murphy bed hold up well.

J’ai terminé de monter l’armoire et le bureau et j’en suis très content. Concernant le lit, j’ai commis une erreur en commandant. Pour le monter, je dois relever le plafond suspendu du sous-sol de 4 pouces. J’aurai dû commander un lit escamotable « cabinet ». Je peux difficilement vous retourner ce lit car lors de la livraison, le livreur était seul et il a laissé les 7 boites au bout du stationnement. J’étais seul et j’ai dû ouvrir toutes les boites et descendre toutes les pièces une à une. J’aimerais bien pouvoir échanger mon lit pour un lit cabinet, si c’est possible. Tout est intact et j’offre de me rendre à Lac Mégantic faire l’échange.

Beautiful product. However, my husband is a licensed carpenter and craftsman and found aspects of assembly quite difficult. Better labelling of screws needed and some of the schematics need a little more written instruction.

…looks the part, not quality item

Great looking item but it will dent and scratch very easily. Putting it together required a carpenter even though we are good at assembling usually. There’s a large gap at the headboard - so no one will be able to sit on their bed to watch to or read.

Highly Useful Design with the Integrated Desk!

The design of this Murphy bed, with the integrated desk, is highly functional. I can hardly wait to get it installed, and see how great it looks in the condo's guest room. I searched through hundreds of Murphy beds, both more and less expensive, and decided on this one for its cleaver design and good use of space. Furthermore, the grey accents on white serve to visually minimize the piece in a small room. Now, I just need for the condo remodel to be finished! Uhhhg!

Pros:

Nice bed and desk

The overall quality and visual appearance is very good. Assembly is pretty straightforward and took less than a day to get it all done. Everything feels solid and all moving parts are smooth.

Fantastic!!!

This is a game changer for our room. Now I have an office space (primary use) which folds away if we have guests to bring down the Murphy bed. (Note: you can fold down the Murphy bed without pushing in the desk). Bestar were super to communicate with. Quite daunting to receive so many big heavy boxes but once you read instructions, every piece is easily marked and it’s so clever the way everything fits together. I love it.

This is not a one man project, but the quality is there. Too bad most of it is particle board. It doesn't come with a mattress, so be prepared to add another few hundred dollars to the purchase.
