Beautiful but disappointing

It's a beautiful piece of furniture that saves space. Upon the recommendation of a mattress less than 12", I bought a 10" mattress. However, it slides into the bottom so when you open the bed, you have to yank it back. I tried it with a 1.5" mattress topper and it didn't solve the issue.

Absolutely love this wall bed. It fit perfectly on my wall and looks like a custom built in. I have had so many compliments on how beautiful it is. You will not be disappointed!

Overall we really like the bed unit. It's over 800 pounds so make sure you have help. Also, the screws can easily be missed. Make sure to search all boxes before you discard.

We’ve had the Murphy bed for about 3 months now and we love it! Pros: very sturdy material, unlike your average **** furniture, same good design, heavier and more sophisticated details. Such a great space saver for an extra guest room. And the drawers can be FULLY pulled out, so nice! Cons: it’s such a trek to assemble. It’s nearly IMPOSSIBLE to do without a professional toolbox and power tools. Me and my partner have decent amount of experience assembling furnitures but this one is a real challenge. Both because it’s heavy (shocked when we found out we had a 800-lbs delivery) and it needs to cut the baseboard to flush the bed against wall and mount it too. It took us like 5 hours to finish the single side shelf. The drawers are very hard to put on the track correctly and the manual is pretty vague. We ended up hiring a handyman from TaskRabbit to finish the task and it took about 4 hours of labor with our help. That’s money well spent! Overall, I’m really happy how this turned out and it’s significantly cheaper than a customized unit from local furniture stores. I only wish the installation manual and be more intuitive and the whole process can be better.

Love this set. Been using it as a bed for my son. But he has gone off to college and now it's up. We purchase the brown one, and it looks elegant. Easy to pull up and down. Need to stick large pillows down in the crevice at the head when the bed is down. That is my son's only complaint.

Pleasantly Surprised and Happy with the Outcome!

This was the most amazing journey we have had in a long time with assembly at home items. Let me just say, i was surprised at the amount of parts that were included in this product! Everything was labeled with care so you opened the boxes that contained the instructions first! Then it was a matter of following along with few words, but great illustrations of what to do and in what order it needed to be done! And that is very important! We skipped ahead once, and had to go back and undo the step we had just done! Learned our lesson fast! The hardware is all quality pieces, including the tools that are included for certain processes that are not normal. The parts are labeled to coincide with directions and the scores/dowel/cam holes were all properly pre-drilled and lined up great. The previous reviews mentioned the time it takes to assemble. They were not kidding. It is a 2 person job, the pieces are heavy, and some tool/process knowledge is helpful. With an instruction coach (me) and a heavy piece assembler (him) we got it done in 4 days, about 4-6 hours each day. The finished product is amazing! We are very proud of the job we did, no arguments, and it is an impressive piece of furniture! Our guests will be pleasantly surprised! Thank you for this well thought-out product and i highly recommend Bestar products. Oh, and the 1-4 week delivery time was actually only 2 days! (we live insane state as warehouse, I guess!

Beautiful, sturdy bed. The dark wood finish is gorgeous and materials came perfect and unscratched. The drawers roll very smoothly and the bed appears like it will hold up for quite a long time. Tons of storage and pulls down easy. We were careful to have picked a mattress that wasn't too thick, but also make sure it weighs enough to hold the bed down. We paid for the installation after hearing the reviews, but it did take the two men hired longer than they thought it would.

Sadly this item came damaged. It was not packed well in my opinion. Would have made a nice bed if the pieces were a little more sturdy and not made of partial board. Love the look of it in the picture, but we did have to return it due to the damage and there was not another one available to replace it so we went with another Murphy bed, not as ornate but made with real wood.

A lot to put together, but well worth it in the end. All pieces were included, no issues with the shipping. Seems to be sturdy and well designed.

Wow! This Versa...

Wow! This Versatile Bed from 1StopBedroom has far exceeded my expectations. With all due respect, my expectations were not very high considering the low price tag. But this is actually very well made hike multi furniture so at these price points my Bed is a great bargain.

Worth it!

Was a little complicated putting together -- and not sure why the decorative face of the pull down couldn't have been attached since they didn't easily line up :( -- but the over quality and durability of the bed is great!!!! Have had many visitors rave of the comfort and beauty!! We got the one with the drawers and they are deep so plenty of storage.
