It looks beautiful but the surface is rough and splintering. I'm afraid if I use it I'll end up with wood in my food. Disappointed as I was really looking forward to this cutting board.

It's a beautiful cuttingboard, but it's not smooth sanded.

This is a great fabulous cutting board. I was hoping to find one that was made of wood not only did this with the bill, but it’s also beautiful! I love the details along the sides, pioneer woman products are always top-notch.

Quality board for a budget price!

I purchased one of these for my wife as it was so much less the others I’ve seen, this $20 board is very similar to others selling for $60 !

Not worth buying for the cute design

This product was unusable as soon as I got it. I washed it according to directions (warm water with soap) and the seal came off. This caused the wood to lift. The wood is also very soft wood and if you cut on it, it will leave deep marks.

Warped

I bought this cutting board about a month ago, and after just two washes, the wood stain has completely faded. Even worse, after the first wash, the board warped, with the ends curving up, making it no longer flat or functional. For something that should be durable, this cutting board didn’t hold up at all. I’m really disappointed with the quality and wouldn’t recommend it.

The design is beautiful as you would expect from pioneer woman. However the quality of the surface is poor. The wood is rough and Has splinters. I kept it because I waited too long to return it.I had to sand with 100 sandpaper.Then wet sand it wash it and then oil it and it's still kind of rough. I will let it dry then sand again. i expected a Smooth cutting surface. But you get what you pay for so I'm really not complaining.I just think that if you want to do the extra work it would be a really good buy.

What's with the splinters?!

What a bummer for this piece. I purchased in store after a quick look at the app and wish I had delved more into the reviews mentioning the splinters and "hairy" feeling. It was washed with a soft sponge after removing the packaging and immediately this piece felt off. I have had a few wood boards before and never experienced this. Would definitely not recommend or even want to use.
