This was very delayed with few updates. Needed for my daughter’s dorm. Lid is flimsy and keeps falling off.

Simple trash can

Perfectly simple and a nice size for a small space. Currently using it outdoors on a covered patio for recycling.

It's suits my needs, perfectly! I have a smallish galley style kitchen, the waste-bin fits, very smart looking, I love the swing top and I'm not chasing it around my kitchen like I did with the 'step'-can. I prefer the matte finish to the chrome, combine the finish with the swing top for virtually no finger prints, etc.!

Simple and sleek

I love this trash can for my cabin rentals. Nice size, good quality, sleek design, space saver.

The trash can is perfect for empty bottles/can collection which is why I purchased it. It's just the right height and actually easy to open so will be great when pulling the bag out. I may purchase another for recycling inside because it also looks great and the color fits with my décor.

This is 13 gallon,,, NOT 10 gallon.

Details state this is 10 gallon but when it arrived, the label says it's 13 gallon. So it's quite larger than the zillion 10 gallon bags I have already purchased. But quality is excellent.

The Umbra 10-gal is just what I wanted for my kitchen. The swing top is perfect for ease in filling the can and keeping odors and unsightly garbage under cover. We like the size as so much of household trash is food scraps, etc so it is better to empty it before the contents age like cheese. The small size which I bought for bathroom is a bit more problematic as the size causes the swing top to fall off when picking it up. Still, Umbra makes a sleek and updated modern look.

A perfect fit for the 13 gallon trash bags

Love the size, smaller than a full 13 gallon kitchen bin so it fits nicely under the breakfast counter with plenty of swing room and still holds the 13 gallon trash bag. Love the dark grey color too.

Doesn't swing like it should

Purchased this on Amazon. The swing top touches one side as it swings, causing a grinding noise and when it stops, it stay open about an inch or so. It sure doesn't close the way the picture looks. Can is too cheap to return, so looking for another one. Disappointed in Umbra design. I have been a fan until now. Was it Amazon storage that twisted the top, not sure? But it's annoying.

So glad that this years-long favorite is still available (replaced a black can with a gray one) and wonderfully functional, at a surprisingly low price and shipped directly to my home. Thank you!

Love these smiling garbage cans! I like that I dont have to touch the can to throw something away.Medium sized can and fits regular garage bag. Easy to wipe off.

Just what I needed. A bit too tall for my space, but thats my own fault for not measuring first, and it turns out to fit perfect with the lid off. Quite deep and perfect for a condo.

Fits perfectly in my kitchen island cabinet!

Had a heck of a time finding a trash can that fit in my island lower cabinet below the garbage hole cut out. This garbage fits perfectly! Minus the lid of course, the can is tall enough that the garbage tossed in doesn't miss the can. Very pleased with it!

Leaves top of trash bag exposed

I like the basic design, especially the swivel top, which allows you to use it with one hand and no feet. But the way the top fits inside the unit instead of outside causes the top of any plastic trash bags to be exposed--an awkward appearance. Also the top didn't move freely, but rubbed and scraped slightly against the opening.

Excellent trash can

I just bought this trash can again. My previous one I had for 14 years and ended up with a slight crack on the bottom because of a move. We love the quality and look of this trash can- definitely worth the $.
