I've been trying to use the big square plastic ones on a bed frame that originally had wheels on it. It constantly "tipped over" the square ones. Take the plastic cap off the ends of these but don't throw them away. Mine seems to have loosened up somewhat. In fact I need to order a spare pair in case they are ever discontinued. You get 6, 3 pair.

Study Legs

Very fast shipping. Item (6 legs) appear study and able to support king size bed. Legs were easy to install after mattress was removed. Happy with purchase. FYI, remember when you establish needed height, if you are removing wheels from the bed, you will lose 1.5 to 2 inches. So a 5 inch leg only provides a 3 to 3.5 inch increase if you're removing wheels.
