This device was inexpensive, easy to install and works perfectly.

It’s on and off for about 2hr in the morning and 2hr. In the evening. Believe it’s a good product but need delay function a little longer

The photocell works perfectly- it also installed perfectly minus one fender washer ( I had to drill and rig up) as the photo cell was a smaller footprint from my old model

Only required a few minutes to replace the sensor which fit perfectly. A lot more cost effective than a new light fixture. Located in the electronics aisle. One suggestion is to note the location in the lighting area. Worked perfectly, changed my ‘always on’ back to a ‘dusk to dawn’

They last about 1 year then fail. On my 4th unit. Wish I had an alternative to where it is installed

Basic Dusk/Dawn solution

Good little threaded sensor that fits many outdoor lamps. I did find the sensor is a bit slow to detect changes in Day/Night, on average 20 - 30 seconds to switch power on/off.

It appears to be working fine, I mean I haven't noticed a significant difference in the on and off action from the other two lights on my garage.

I have had the product for a few weeks. It was easy to install, and it worked immediately.

The control is quite small, which I needed to fit into the base of an existing porch light. It has been working very well for the last week since installing it. It is not triggered by flashes of light, as it has a time delayed response.

I bought same product after the 1st one I bought failed after 3 weeks. It worked fine until then. So we will see how long this one lasts

Keep them dry

I've gone through a few of these, one seems to be holding up coming up a couple yrs now. An obvious flaw I discovered is there not water proof. Moisture gets in around the lens. A drop of crazy glue around the edge seems to have solved that problem. I've tried other similar one's because of the size and they seem all about the same quality, probably made by the same company somewhere far far away...

Find a different Mfgr

This is not worth the price or aggravation. That being said it did not work right off I had to play with the wiring and finally got it to work. So I pulled it apart and it had one of these in it with a cloudy eye, so I bought a new put it back together it lasted just about 6 months. I have read various electrician forums where they say to avoid Intermatic as they are garbage and they find themselves having to replace them often until they switch manufacturers and no problems since.

This is the cutest and expensive sensor you can buy. Easy to install. A second nut would have been appreciate to graduate the depth of the sensor from the inside when installing in the lamps. After installation the sensor is too protruding or sticking out too much, making it too obvious and ugly. This kind of sensor should be out of sight or hidden in my opinion.

Perfect replacement item. Beware, when you first turn the power on the light will be lite. I thought I had missed wire it, but turns out this is how it works. It eventually went off and operated properly.

Have to have it for outdoor lights. They last about two years then fail and have to be replaced. Obviously poor quality just like Phillips light bulbs, nothing but junk
