THE MAIN BODY AND FIXTURE HEADS FILL UP WITH WATER AND SHORT OUT

I would only give this fixture half a star only because it did work 6 months. Wall mounting directly exposed to rain is not a good idea. Even though it says "SUITABLE FOR DAMP,WET LOCATIONS" it is not. Filled up with water and shorted out. 2 of them did.

The motion sensor does not pick up motion unless you are fairly close compared to my last light

Device not sensitive enough.

The device is not sensitive enough. I stand in front of it waving my arms and the device did not activate.

I am very happy with this flood light. It was fast and easy to install. looks good and works like I thought it would. Liked all the different types of color lights. The lights turn to the positions I wanted. A big part of buying this particular light was the ease of access to the buttons to change the different aspects of the light.

Accent light to bright for where I intend to place it

Like the look of the light a lot. The accent light is a bit bright. I wish there was a way to adjust the brightness . Otherwise I like the light.

I can't express my frustration with this product. The accent light is so bright that it's hard to tell when the motion lights come on. The 5 second bypass method to just turn the light on and leave it on doesn't even work. The photo cell adjustment is backwards and it might as well not even have a motion detector. Unless I turn the motion adjustment all the way down the floodlights just go on and off regardless of motion and all the way down they don't go on at all. It was probably not a good idea to put lights IN the motion detector.

Night light stayed on all night & didn't like that

This led light did a good job lighting outside our shed.

Ordered these for some extra ligtt he and security at night. Modern look. Not clunky at all. Nice design and features.

Motion sensor not directional

I wish I could have kept the two lights I bought, but they lacked two things. 1) The motion sensor was not directional, so installed under my 2nd story eave did not work. 2) the dusk-to-dawn light is always on, like it or not. I guess it had too many options for our application.

Disappointing

The motion detector would not detect my large dog more than six feet away and the dawn to dusk option only controls the dim light. This is useless because the terrible motion detector controls the bright lights only. I returned it and went elsewhere for a quality dawn to dusk light.

defective

I must have a defective unit. The motion lights trip nonstop unless the dial is all the way off....then they never come on. The accent light stays in a repetitive on off sequence regardless of the light dial. Nothing works as it should and it is as if the adjustment dials do nothing at all. Except the color temp dial, that is the only one that works.

HGX lighting works great

I really luv this brand. The quality of there products are amazing. Easy to hook up and use. It’s always good to have extra lights outside. Anything come in close it turns on works great, very bright. Anyone can hook this up not hard at all. Luv it

Excellent floodlight upgrade

Got this fixture to replace a really old floodlight fixture that we couldn’t even put two bulbs in. This install was an easy DIY for an existing box without issues. Make sure you turn off your breaker and check the wires! Fit seamlessly on the existing box and bracket on the side of our house. May want to caulk it, but that’s the lake facing side so we go heavy on sealants. Weathered a hail storm very well already.

Bright

These lights are really bright I received them just in time when we needed to add some more light to our backyard. The motion detection works. I really like them because the light shines very bright and I can see most of my backyard. I've already recommended them to my family and friends.

Great flood light

This flood light is perfect for about our garage. The lights illuminate our entire driveway giving us the light we need at night to see while getting back into the house, taking our trash out, or anything else we need to do in the dark.

Great light for the backyard!

I got this to replace our old busted flood light in our back yard. It works great and I love that it’s dust to to dawn instead of motion sensor. We have dogs so I wanted something that was either on or off and not constantly going off. Works well for us!
