Great insulating & light blocking drape

Satiny smooth finished fabric. Sewn well. Washed on gentle in cold and gentle/air in dryer. They came out fine and hang nicely. They block nearly all light. They are a true red which is what I wanted

Does the job

Ordered four of these for my college dorm room closet. Color is much darker than expected compared to product photos. The length of each curtian are also all very different, two of them even appear crooked when hanging as opposed to having a straight line. Otherwise the quality isn't terrible.

great sun protection

I ordered 2 sets for a bedroom and was very pleased with the fabric quality and was amazed at the block out feature. But the color wasn't right, so I reordered in the next darkest color and they were perfect. Hung them the next day and we are sleeping better. I returned the other sets to the JCPenny near me and she was most polite and helpful, easy return. Thanks

Advertises extra Interlining, has no lining at all

An Interlining means there is an extra foam lining in between, this is one of the few with my specs that I found online. Very disappointed to find it not only had no interlining, it had no lining at all! This is deceptive advertising for thin curtains that barely block the light.

Black out curtains

I bought four panels. Each panel is a different size. None of them match. One was so long they sent me another one to replace it but they’re all different sizes and they do not hang right, they hang all crooked. I bought these curtains before and I loved them, I had no issue with them, but these are horrible and I’m just too lazy to bring them back to the store. But I will never buy them again.

Amazing Value

These are gorgeous. Just beautiful. Once steamed they are 5 star hotel quality.

Elegance

Strong but soft and a heaviness to the fabric. That’s why I bought these. Perfect for old double hung single pane windows. They hold in the needed heat and come summer days they keep the heat out very effectively. Best of all they look like real nice quality. Proud to hang them in my home.

Incorrect labeling

I ordered this product, thinking that they were two pieces instead of one because of the picture. Now it’s discontinued and I’m stuck with one piece. Feeling so annoyed and disappointed because it’s not the color i was expecting but it would have worked. The color of the curtain against the blanket i wanted to use.

I bought 2 taupe black out panels for my daughter's bedroom and I really wanted to be happy with them. First, they are not black out. They significantly darken the room but are not black out as advertised. Second, these are not taupe. They are more of an antique gold color. So! I am going to have to purchase a shear overlay to darken the room even more and alter the color. I probably won't purchase these through Overstock, however.

SO WORTH IT MY ROOM IS MORE DARKER 🌙

Please excuse the quality in the photos below. It was worth !!! it. Although I got this item without knowing it will block most light, but after getting the curtains, it’s really helping a lot with making my room more darker and more easier for me to sleep at night and not get blinded by the light during the mornings anymore. So if anyone is wanting to buy these curtains I 1,000,000,000% recommend.

NOT LIGHT BLOCKING/ COLOR WHITE ACTUALLY BLUE/GRAY

The title of this item says "Blackout" but these are not! They are one-ply and that piece of fabric lets light through the weave. True blackout curtains have a rubbery substance sprayed on the back to block out the light, or have a second layer that is not decorative; purely light blocking. When I'm sleeping I need ALL the light blocked, not just "most" as the description now says. Problem No. 2: I ordered color "white" but these are not white. They are a bluish-gray. Be warned! I tried to return the 13 panels that I ordered but cannot because it's past 30 days. Will try to sell privately. Awful description and I'm sorry I trusted it.

Second Failure

This is the second set of these curtains I’ve purchased. They block light so well, that overhead lighting is necessary during daytime. Great quality!

NOT BLACKOUT CURTAINS

These are NOT Blackout curtains. The material is somewhat heavy but does snag if you have dry skin. I searched and searched for curtains that would keep out the cold thinking blackout would accomplish this, but alas they marginally do their job. Color is very nice and I haven't washed them yet, so who knows what will happen. I am rather disappointed. Hours on the computer just frustrated to no end.

black backed curtain

Nice BLACKOUT curtain. Heavier than they look too. Not sure Im going to be liking the black on the back of curtain over a white backed curtain. I feel these will become very hot with summer sun on them. Black soaks in the heat and sun, where white reflects to keep cooler. At this point this is my only drawback. I haven't had the curtain very long, so have not washed/ dryed yet.

NOT white at all

I bought "Pearl White" (Sun Zero Nolan Energy Saving Blackout Rod Pocket Curtain Panel, 40"x63", Pearl White) and the Walmart.com pictures look like a shimmery (i.e., "pearl") white-to-off-white (vs. pure white). However, the curtains I received are very much beige, leaning toward taupe. Dark. No one would call this white or even off white or cream or eggshell or anything like that. You'd call it beige at best. The label says "PRL", so I assume that means I was shipped what they're calling pearl white. I haven't checked the length, quality, or blackout level because the color is so totally wrong. But I do immediately see that the stitching is awful--big giant needle holes in the top

Gorgeous and plush like Satin instead of polyester

I just opened the package for my new curtains. I am pleasantly surprised at how well they are made. They feel like a soft satin instead of just polyester. I can machine wash them which is important to me. It is too dusty in my area and being able to throw them in the washer is quicker and easier than taking them to a cleaner. I havnt moved into my new Condo yet so I draped them over a curtain rod on the sunniest window and during peak sun shining time. I need these to hold back the sun for me and they do a great job of that. I havnt dewrinkled them yet and I promise I will before I hang them up properly once I move. I would definitely recommend these curtains.
