Beautiful easy to set up holds umbrella perfect

it was relatively easy to assemble. It was not flat after it was filled with water, whichbis why I deducted a star. I also don't know how Im going to remove the water from the stand without breaking it as the instructions say not to let the water freeze inside the base.

This umbrella base will work perfect for a standard umbrella when its filled with water but if you have a big umbrella then you will want to fill it with sand for heavier weight. if you decide to use water, please keep in mind that it will evaporate and you will have to refill it. The base is actually big and looks like metal, even though its plastic. So far so good for me with the sand inside! Definitely recommend this umbrella base!

Looks and works fine, but in windy %26 hot Las Vegas, I would recommend filling with sand vs. water. The water evaporates quickly, making it easy to tip over during high winds. We ended up putting sand bags on top of it for extra stability.

Stable base for patio umbrella

Purchased for the diameter which is larger than many other options - makes umbrella more stable.
