Arrived Damaged

Product arrived damaged. Packaging looked like it had been previously opened. Sad that it would be sent to another customer if it was damaged prior to shipping. Regardless, will be requesting a refund.

This base is substantial enough to hold a 10ft teak umbrella securely.

Poor handling, arrived broken

Arrived broken in half. Return process not easy as it weighs 132 lbs. High likelihood based on other reviews that the replacement shows up damaged as well but giving it a shot.

Base wheel came off within 2 days! Defective product...

On the second day of ownership, I was trying to move the stand and one wheel broke free from the base after rolling a few feet. GDF Studio has not responded to my numerous emails regarding this defective product so I can return for a refund. I cannot recommend this product based on my experience.

Good, heavy umbrella base

The support pole arrived crushed but I contacted the manufacturer (Noble House) and they promptly sent me a new one. The support pole has adapters that make it fit poles of different diameters. The base is very heavy. The wheels make it easier to move around.

Overall was as expected. Heaviest platform base out there to optimize from wind for stan—alone umbrella. Three sizers for umbrella pole. Box came split up but product was not damaged Very heavy so you need two to carry. Pole base a little flimsy but I think it will be fine. Easy to assemble.
