BASIC needs

This is a sound plastic umbrella base. Not extremely heavy and good enough to do its job and move around. This is my second purchase (I live in Florida cannot have enough umbrellas in the patio!).

Good quality

This Unbrella Base Weight is made of good quality material. The color compliment my patio furniture. I love it.

Surprised that the item is more attractive than in the ad site.

Great little stand for my small umbrella at the pool. Works just as expected. Shipping was fast and the quality is good.

It is made of heavy duty plastic. The design is nice with gold flex in the otherwise dark charcoal color. It holds quite a bit of water so is heavy. I have not yet tested it during a strong windstorm.

It should work as intended. But for me with my small 48" table, it seems unacceptable: tall, bulky. And it's got this fake "bronzey" color - gold under black. Taking both together, I'd rather have some heavy iron thing providing ballast/stability to my umbrella. Just sayin' - while it may work just fine, I really dislike its dimension's appearance.

I appreciated the ability to use water not sand to fill the base, much easier than buying sand and getting into that small hole. Seems to do a good job at keeping an umbrella stable without a table. This gives me options on location and no fear of toppling over. Too soon to comment on longevity. I recommend.

This base holds up my 9 foot umbrella much better than the other one did very sturdy. I added sand to mine it keeps my umbrella in place in windy weather.

Unfortunately, the stand does not fit under the set I bought

Very attractive base, however, even filled to the max, a breezy day caused the umbrella to tip over.

Sturdiness

Have a 9 foot umbrella in mine as recommended to buy this one and it falls over all the time.

The Two "Ss" - Sturdy and Sand!

I love the idea that this stand can be filled with sand! The stand is sturdy and I don't worry about the umbrella being secure, especially when it gets windy! We can empty the sand or just keep it the way it is if we want to move it or save it for the next season!
