This is certainly not as good as it gets in office chairs or even as good as it gets for HON but it's a decent task chair at its price point. The material and padding are good quality (though certainly not the highest end memory foam out there) and the chair has no flex or wobble. It lacks some of the basic adjustments you'll find in more expensive chairs but if it happens to fit you well as-is, then there's really little need to spend much more if this is the type of chair you're looking for.

Returned the 5701 model to get this one. The main difference is this one's back reclines independent of the seat, which is how my office chair was. This is my COVID chair. I have used it for a few months now and it is holding up well. The only thing it's started to do is when I stand up, the seat stays compressed for a few seconds, and then pops back out. Nothing more than a slight annoyance, although I worry what this means for the durability of the chair. I would like for it to last many years.

The chair is too big. Make sure you check the dimensions. I'm 5'6", 140lbs, and the chair is made for a much bigger person. This would not be ergonomic and comfortable for me because of the size. Also, the chair I got was stuck on the lower position and it would not rise. Aside from that, it is a good quality chair; sturdy and strong.

Very durable chair, feels comfortable and should have enough padding for most people. Easy to assemble. The only thing i would change are the casters. They don't seem as durable and don't glide well (on plastic mat). I replaced it with AXL roller blade style wheels which glide better. I have had it for about 2 years, still looks just as good as new.

Nice chair. It's quite attractive and seems sturdy, the upholstery seems rugged. It's a reasonable price-point. I like it. If the manufacturer could post the assembly instructions in a more conspicuous place, say attached to the seat back or bottom, it might alleviate some otherwise needless consternation on the part of the consumer, mainly time spent assembling the chair, and misunderstanding about how to operate it. I'm really not all-thumbs when it comes to assembling things, and this is not a hard thing to assemble, at all. But the height adjustment is not intuitive to those of us used to pulling UP on the lever underneath the seat, as it is with most office chairs. With this chair, you push DOWN on the lever underneath the seat. The tilt mechanism is also very simple, although, again, not necessarily intuitive. Unless you read the instructions (which I accidentally discarded with the various pieces of packaging refuse) you might spend a long time thinking that this chair will not tilt, as described, as did I... It does tilt, it tilts quite a lot; you have to pull OUT on that same lever underneath the seat that you use to adjust the height. That's about it. There isn't a heck of a lot else to say about a standard office chair, albeit a reasonably nice one. The manufacturer offers a lifetime warranty on this product. My initial impression is that I probably won't have to pursue that warranty offer at a later date. But if I do, my purchase receipt is neatly tucked away in my Home Essentials Direct account records.
