Works for us

This keyboard tray was purchased to replace a 15 year old version of the same model, due to cracked brackets. Happily, there has been very little change, so installation was pretty easy. The plastic wrap around the tray was embedded under a non-removable section on the underside, so it had to be cut away with a box knife. That was a hassle, not sure what the thinking could've been. However, overall I have liked this tray. It seems a little lightweight, but the first one held up 15 years - if users are gentle with it, I think it is fine. I like the pullout mouse tray, and the slider at the back to keep the keyboard from moving around. It is reasonably easy to keep clean. The plastic of the brackets on the new tray seems a little sturdier than the brackets on the old one, so hopefully they have solved that issue. The only other issue I had with the old one is that the very short screws holding the brackets to the sliders fell out fairly often, and I had to crawl around on the floor to find them. Eventually I resolved this by putting tape over them so they couldn't fall out. I would recommend this tray to anyone who needs an affordable keyboard tray where it won't receive rough use. Incidentally, I screwed the brackets into blocks that I had screwed to the underside of my desk (which is really a table), as the brackets themselves weren't long enough to get the tray as low as I needed it. This worked fine (and I don't think the bracket cracking was related).

Good quality slidiing keyboard drawer

A bit of a challenge to install as it requires screws under the desk but I had a handyman friend attach it to my desk. We adjusted it to my required keyboard height and it slides in and out pretty well. I find the slide out mouse holder on side is very stiff but I am keeping it pulled out so don't have to slide it. Overall, good quality product and it's doing what I need. I recommend if you are looking for something like this.

Mostly I like it.

I like it but wish it had, as my previous drawer had, a narrow compartment underneath the hand rest which flipped up and was a good place to store pens, etc. I also would have have appreciated an upright barrier in the back so I could store small items such as pens, etc, there without their falling out. My previous keyword drawer had this feature also.

Great Product & Great People

Ordered a heavy desk. Which was more than I expected. The store associates were extremely helpful in helping me to this heavy desk into my car.

Great Adjustable Keyboard Drawer for the Money

Once assembled and mounted, it turned out to be a very solid keyboard drawer. You had to lay on your back and tape the template in place and then drill the holes which was a little difficult in a tight space. It slides in and out very easily and holds a heavy keyboard nicely. The slide-out mouse bad is a great addition too. Made out of very solid and quality looking materials too.

Fellows Keyboard Under Desk Drawer

This Keyboard Drawer is everything that I wanted and expected. It is sturdy, well built, and the components assemble well.If there is a draw back, the drawer is a little deeper than I would like army Mac keyboard is thinner than most. I easily fixed this annoyance by inserting a layer of foam board in the tray bottom.

Good Value

I am pleased with this item. Considering the price point it does it’s job. It is all plastic so take that into account. No padded tray or mouse. Installation was fair. Template for drilling holes was accurate.

Perfect

Installed this about two weeks ago on my homemade desk setup. Using the full size paper template makes drilling pilot holes easy. I taped it onto the underside and drilled through the paper. Slides smoothly and feels sturdy. I use the mouse slide-out works fine hope the plastic holds up but so far so good!

Hey, what's not to like...

This is an under desktop shelf for you keyboard and mouse. The mouse ends up on the table, but the keyboard says in the tray. It keeps the desk very clean when not in use. A little scary drilling the holes in the bottom of the desk top, but success!

It's a drawer and it slides

I'm pretty happy with this drawer as the price for it is great. There's space for a mouse/trackpad that slides out. Albeit it's a bit tight and needs adjustment to make the sliding easier. The bang for the buck is great though. Easy to assemble. It has a template to help you but I didn't use it.

Great keyboard drawer

What can I say, the Fellowes Office Suites Under desk Keyboard Drawer (9140304) is great. There are several height adjustments, the mouse pad can be mounted on the right or left hand. When fully extended the drawer locks and then does not move around until closed.

Adaptable

Meets my needs, is comfortable and was adaptable to my tight confines. The slide rails for the mouse pad area have an extra pair of holes to allow you to mount it 1” farther in. This enables mounting of the drawer tighter to the right side if you have a limited opening. Needed to elongate the front right mounting hole to make the rails parallel though.

[Rewarded Review] Dimensions a little off.

A very nice and affordable keyboard drawer. But I had some trouble about the dimnsions. My new desk has a structural piece of wood two inches high across the whole front. The lowest the draer can go is 2.5 inches below the bottom surface of the desktop. so that leaves me 0.5 inches for the keyboard, anything higher than that will smack into the crosspiece. Fortunately I found a kayboard thats less than 0.5 high, but it is only 5 deep. the keyboard drawer accomodates keyboards between 6.5 to 8 so the result is the keyboard slides around while i am typing

Great!

My husband knew I wanted a keyboard drawer and picked this one. It’s perfect! I have this lovely shelf unit, of which a portion has been turned into a desk. My husband affixed the keyboard drawer to the shelf and it is very stable and functional. It has a little mouse pad that pulls out on the right side, (you can turn the unit around for lefties), that does really well for me.

Decent, but needs improvement

This piece does exactly what you expect it to do, however some minor improvements could make it perfect.

functional and affordable

I was able to set it up within half an hour under my desk. I have no power drill, so I used a nail and hammer to make small indentations then screw it in. I did not use the paper template that came with it. Instead, I used a marker where the holes were when putting the four holders onto the tray. So far so good, has not fallen off my desk. Though I dont feel safe leaning onto it. The mouse tray I cannot use since it is so small. I need to find a small mouse pad for it.

You get what you pay for...

This is just a very poorly considered and designed product. To call it "adjustable" is a crime, given that, practically speaking, you can only really adjust the height BEFORE you install it on your desk. I made the mistake of trying to do it after and yes, technically I was able to do it, but I was worried the screws attaching the tray to the desk were going to strip out. If you don't have a desk made of solid wood (ie you have an MDF desk, which is what most of them are...) that is going to be a real concern. I certainly am not going to be trying to adjust the height of the tray again given how ridiculously onerous it is to adjust it (the height adjustment is set in place by 4 screws that screw into washers. As I said, a nightmare to change once the tray is installed on the desk.) As another reviewer noted, the tray can't fit anything but a standard keyboard so if you have an ergonomic one, forget it. it comes with this annoying wrist rest that is just wasted space, especially considering how cheap and affordable those are to buy. But worse than that, the pull out shelf for the mouse doesn't even come to the same depth as the wrist support on the keyboard which leaves your arm unsupported when using the mouse which, again, not good for ergonomics. Also, the level of the pull out mouse tray is much lower than the level the keyboard is on -- again an ergonomic nightmare.

[Rewarded Review] Quick Shipping, Good product

I'm usually a person who gives a pretty high rating, so this 3 is on the lower side for me, and the reason it's a 3 is because the L-shaped desk I wanted to attach it to is one that has a metal bracket connecting the 3 pieces together. That bracket is an 1 1/2". Unfortunately the brackets for the keyboard tray are about 1" and do not have enough depth to fit below the brackets under the desk. We are going to customize it by putting some wedges onto the desk where the brackets for the tray go, giving it enough room to fit under the desk, but I wish I had known this in advance of ordering.

DOESN'T FIT THE LOGITECH WAVE KEYBOARD

The picture makes it look like the logitech wave keyboard - its not. Mine doesn't fit, but if you set it on top of the little tray holder, it works fine. Just doesn't fit super great but I don't care given my other one finally broke off the rails. Make sure you read the most helpful critical review - it's true, the measurements are wrong when you include the mouse tray. I was just happy to get this the next day with fast, well-handled shipping (didn't throw the box at the door). It took some work and effort from the lovely spouse to get it installed, which I appreciate - could've been a little easier, but not a huge deal for the price. It's also pretty sturdy. Can't really complain!
