The guage of steel (thickness) is fairly thin. For as much as they charge for this item, it should have been made with a thicker steel. By increasing the guage, it would increase the quality and feel of the item while only marginally increasing the cost of production.

Has faded really quickly in the sun, but what can you expect?

Only negative is that when it rains, water gets in an mail gets wet.

Nice looking mailbox, but I think the powder coating/paint isn't correct for metal application. It scratches off extremely easy and caused some damage during installation. See photo.

Roomy, sleek design.

Great quality and just the right size. The only con is that the lid slams shut if you let go of it. Might put some little plastic stickies to absorb the shock.

The maiboxes are fabulous! I think all tenants are pleased. They have a very rich feel to them.

The mailbox looks great, but is a little hard to open. The hinges are tied.

The mailbox would be perfect, if it wasn’t for the indents on the top. I’m not sure if this is normal or we just got a bad one. It really takes away from the clean look of the mailbox.

Easy install and looks great. Large enough to hold magazines and penny savers. Now I just have to paint my front door to match it better
