Bought two boxes and both had no problem mounting to a brick wall. They open and close easily and being plastic, you don't hear the slamming of the lid. They shouldn't pit or rust like the last metal boxes.

I didn’t like this mailbox because the plastic lid doesn’t close easily and that can create issues for wet mail. Also the pictures didn’t show the back of this product , which will not go flush against a wall., unless you want to do extra work to add other supports to the mailbox and wall of house?

it was not what i hoped for. the mounting holes were in the wrong place and i was also hoping for newspaper hooks. if you're looking for a simple mailbox and dont already have the screws in your nrw siding, this just might work for you

It would be better if they included the hardware ( screws and such). I have had the mailbox for a week now but can’t install it bc I don’t have the hardware. Now I have to go back to HD and find the correct hardware.

Durable and easy to install it has a very modern style that would go with any design style home. We receive a lot of mail and this mailbox fits everything with ease. So far, it has withstood the rainy winter weather.

This mailbox was not good quality in that it is made with very cheap plastic. The lid to open and close the mailbox was not easy to close. I definitely prefer my older mailbox made with steel. This is probably better for indoor use to keep opened mail or other stuff in.

Simple and basic

Its good for what I need it for. Its waterproof/rust proof, compact, and is big enough for envelopes and magazines. My only complaint is it doesn't close that well, theres always a little gap. Otherwise perfect

I was surprised to see that this mailbox was plastic. On a scale of 1-5 (5 being Very Sturdy) I’d give it a 3. It did not come with the 4 screws you need to attach it. I imagine that once you attach it, it will sturdy up more. The lid is a bit on the flimsy side. It bends (or twists) a bit when you open close it. It’s very plain. Very minimalistic. Overall, it should get the job done keep your mail dry. It wouldn’t be my personal choice, but will definitely work. Also, when it closes, there is a bit of resistance, as if it is getting hung up on something. But like I said, it will definitely work to hold your mail.

Cheap feel, thin plastic

Unfortunately I did not lime this mailbox. The plastic is cheap and thin feeling. The box was able to be twisted slightly side to side, which makes me feel it is not sturdy. When opening the top door, there is a loud clicking sound, which is annoying. The capacity is large, which is nice, and the style is really good. It's an attractive mailbox, but I can't see it lasting.

Sometimes, you have to get creative….

I was brainstorming ideas for a permanent, waterproof, home for my backyard mini-Bluetooth receiver and for some reason, a “plastic” wall-mounted mailbox came to mind. The mailbox itself is very functional, but I had to do some mounting modifications since it has two vertical tabs on the back meant to give the lid a bit of wiggle room when opened. The only complaint is that since it is plastic, it is a bit flimsy. Other than that, not bad for its intended purpose.

I FEEL LIED TO

this is the biggest purchase regret ever. it looks fabulous online, but when you open the box... I mean I wouldn't let my kitten use it as a littler box! It's the biggest disappointment. The entire Gibraltar line looks glam-affordable online, and I was thrilled to get something so lovely as such a great price, UNTIL I OPENED THE BOX. :(

We just put new siding on our house. I wanted plastic because over the years we had purchased other products that had either tarnished and or pitted. I actually purchased two of these mailboxes. The price was good and wanted a back up in case it started looking old. No issues so far. It’s been two and a half years. It is a great size and are able to comfortably reach in and get your mail out. The only thing was when I originally purchased the mailbox the hinges squeaked upon opening and closing. That all is forgotten and looks a new as when I purchased it. As everything outside Including siding, the mailbox , especially being white needs to be occasionally cleaned to remove dust and dirt.

Perfect size. A little flimsier than expected. No problems so far, but not sure how long plastic lid will last, being the hinge is also plastic. Also, the texture looks like it will not be easy to keep clean (white). In hindsight, I recommend getting one that comes with everything (the hardware).

Good price. I purchased plastic so it would not rust. I was tired of replacing them when rust started. Noisy when opening and closing. Good size holding capacity. Front detail is unique and you are able to encase the was it looks by even adding peal and stick numbers to the box.

Great Mailbox

This product arrived today, as promised.. It is a solidly built box, large, and will meet my needs. The first box was misplaced in the mail, and the company acted quickly to send a replacement. I think, though, for a few extra cents, the mounting hardware should have been included, though they did advertise it as sold separately. But thanks very much. My first box was metal, rusted and as old as the house (1957), and the second box locked, but had a very tiny slit to push the mail into. This one is spacious, and will easily hold both mail and small parcels. Thanks very much.
