BACKGROUND: We have lights around our swimming pool but wanted something to shine directly into the pool. For safety we wanted low-voltage lights. The Roidham 216 lumen spotlight looked like a good start.

[Rewarded Review] Great look, metal landscape flood light

We wanted some lighting on the front of our house. We found a couple of these flood lights to try. We got this flood light to highlight our front door, but be able to move it/change it to other parts of the front as needed. The light is metal, well-made and easy to put together. The wire connection is plastic but went together and easily connected to my 12 volt landscape system. The light floods the entire porch/front door area and looks good. The black finish has a nice look.

I picked up this Home Decorators Rodham Low Voltage Hardwired LED Outdoor Spotlight as I start to piece together the pieces to add some high quality landscape lighting on my property. I really liked the quick connector should allow for an easy install. This light is going to be used for my trees. This Rodham Black Low Voltage Hardwired Landscape Flood Light by Home Decorators Collection is a great product. What I like about this product is its corrosion-resistant housing and the soft lighting that it provides to the trees and shrubs. Also, the LED system provides maintenance free operation and there are no bulbs to change. I already had landscape lighting in place and I was able to just plug this light in the line using the quick-install wire connector. So, this light works fine with my existing lighting.

Heavy duty all aluminum flood light. I use these to light the flag on the front of my garage and my fence gates. They use only 4.5 watts and give 290 lumens of light. That is amazing for a fixture this small. The ground stake is all metal and has a foot pad made into it to use while inserting it into the ground. It is also shaped to make it stay in position if you are going into soft soil. The positioning knob is large and easy to use to set the angle you want. They used the new large style wire connector. It is easy to install and remove (if you need to take it off) to your low voltage wire.

The home decorators collection rodham flood light is perfect addition to our yard lights. We have flood lights that are high up that shoot downward but it casts a weird shadow on our yard cameras when recording. So we decided to get additional lighting to help with a clearer sightline.

The angle is designed to be adjusted easily and can be pointed from roughly horizontal to vertical. Because it has a good sized stake it should stay where you put it unless someone physically pushes it over. Overall, it is made from solid materials. On the unit I received, the tension nut would not tighten well which is why it is rated 3/5. Otherwise this would receive 5/5.
