With the urgency to recycle and prevalence of plastic and aluminum cans, I had been looking for something to allow me to sort my rubbish as I went instead of doing so after the fact, which was just an all around unpleasant task. This is perfect for the job. My one reason for not giving 5 stars is that other people mention, if you want to pick up and carry the two bins together, you need to use a binder clip or some other work around. It should come with some sort of clip that can be easily undone.

Like that they can connect and they save space. Basic construction and slightly flimsy but they work for my purposes. Lowe's offered a good price and great delivery.

We are bought this item online and were able to get It delivered to our home. I may not have checked the dimensions online because when it arrived it was slightly bigger than I was expecting. The picture online looks bigger smaller than the actual product. The color of both pieces is solid and the product itself is very durable. It also latches to each other well. I bought this recycling trash can to save space in a small office. I like that it has one side for each trash and recycling. It comes apart easily, which is actually why I knocked off a star. Sometimes if I hit is with my foot (under my desk) by accident, it comes apart. I would still recommend, as it is a space saver, eliminating the need for separate trash and recycling bins. It is pretty sturdy and looks good under my desk.

This bin is exactly what I was looking for. A lot of other bins are too small to hold anything significant, but this 6 gallon bin is perfect for under my kitchen sink and big enough to dispose a lot of garbage.

I got these to go under my sink in my coffee bar. they did not work back to back as shown, but works well just next to each other. the size is perfect. having different colors is excellent for trash and recycle.
