Great purifier

Great purifier. Received a couple months ago. It lives on the eco mode and most of the time you can’t even hear it. It’s quite responsive turns on right away when we start to burn something on the stove. Light and easy to move between rooms. Happy with purchase.

Strong plastic smell

There is a strong plastic smell when in use. Maybe because it's made a plastic, or because of the glue used to seal the HEPA filters...

Emits odor and will not connect to modern Wi-Fi

The Airmega Mighty AP-1512HHS is an elegantly-designed product with an intuitive interface and easy filter replacement. I own a AP-1512HH (non-S version) which I love, however I am giving the AP-1512HHS three stars because a) it emits a subtle but bothersome odor associated with the activated carbon layer, and b) despite genuine troubleshooting efforts I was never able to connect the product to WiFi. Coway should seriously consider upgrading the WiFi-enabled products to be compatible with 5 GHz networks (dedicated or multi-band).

Greatest Little Air Purifier

Greatest air filters ever. This is my 3rd Coway product and I love them all. This one is great in my office. It blends in with my decor. It is quiet, but very effective. I love all the features and especially the ability to turn off all the lights on the top.

Doesn’t connect

Connects to WiFi but won’t connect to the internet

Amazingly quiet device. Directions incomplete.

This device is amazingly quiet. The instructions tell you that the first thing you need to do is to remove the filters from their plastic bags. Makes sense. How do you actually remove the filter from the device? No clue. Figure it out yourself.

Beautiful Design and Efficient Purifying

I haven’t tried the smart feature yet, as you can use these without the smart feature. But I love the colors (shiny black with matte bronze), the ease of use, and the quality! I might either get two more or one of Coway’s large room smart air purifiers in black and in a different model. They truly are the best at detecting things and capturing dust and even hair. I’d highly recommend!

Very efficient and not too loud

Very performant. Pretty quiet. The app is slow and the graphs of air quality could be improved. It’s not exactly clear what is being measured and at what quantity of particulates is detected which is disappointing for a device that has high recommendations. I had to buy a separate expensive air quality detector. Still gets a 5 because it performs its main job very well.

I returned it. The application is very basic. It did not fulfill my expectations. I bought another brand and love it.

Absolutely recommend!

Very happy with the Coway Air Purifier. We purchased 2 of these and 1 large (300s) because our Daughter has had some respiratory issues. The air quality has drastically improved and I love that I can control them all with my phone. I put all the units on a run schedule so they only turn on when we are home. I would highly recommend any of the Airmega purifiers.

should've waited for the April sale

This is the second product from Coway. I love them. They work well, and really add to the air quality at home and in the bedroom. I bought this one for the bedroom during the March sale. Should have waited for the next sale in April. Could have saved $100.00!

Highly recommend

I suffer with asthma. When the volcano erupted last November I had to take steroids...until my Airmega AP-1512HHS arrived. Then the air in our house was purified and I got off steroids. It was a life saver to me. I sleep and feel better.

Quiet, Powerful air purifier!

In very little time, the dust that was in our home is essentially gone! This is our second Coway and is in our FLA Home. Our older model is still working great in our home up north.

Great device besides Wi-Fi incompatibility

Spent four hours to connect to Wi-Fi, the unit doesn’t support modern standards Wi-Fi networks and password complexity. Once i worked around that it was good, the design is good for a bedroom very dark and calm, the control lights are faint they don’t disturb me and very quiet, I feel like I can notice the difference in air quality since I got this device.

Great product

This is the second air filter we purchased from this company. They have great products. Definitely worth spending a little extra money.

Can’t buy deodorization filter by itself

I guess these air purifiers are ok. I don’t really notice a difference. What bothers me the most is that you have to replace the deodorization filter twice a year, and the HEPA filter only once a year, but you have to buy both as a set with only one deodorization filter in it. So they are effectively forcing you to buy the HEPA filter twice a year, whether you need it or not. I was getting ready to buy 3 more sets for our 3 Coways with 3 HEPA filters that I don’t need when it occurred to me: why not just buy a new air purifier of a different brand?

Make Sure You Have The Right Internet Band

I paid extra for the upgraded version which has capability to connect with the app, but found out that I have to have a 2.4 gh band in order to connect with the app and I only have 5 gh, so I paid extra for nothing.
