[Rewarded Review] Reliable Feeding Schedule

My cat loves this. A little difficult to program.but reliable when it is set up. Great for when you are not around to be sure your fur baby doesn’t miss her meal. Cats like a schedule.

This feeder is always reliable and frees me up to be gone all day and know Rusty will be fed on time.

It still works kinda

Three months after I purchased this automatic feeder it began to make clicking/grinding noises as it dispenses kibble. It still dispenses food but is very noisy.

Convience

It's great except setting the program is tricky. You have to set clock in military time which is confusing unless you are used to it.

My cat didn't wake me at 5:30 am because he was hungry.

I would recommend it.

It could cost less for the materials and how it functions but it is useful. I give the 2 cats different portions throughout the day and don't have to worry about them getting hungry or waking me up at the crack of dawn for a snack.

Good, reliable product. Only problems are that the clock would eventually be off from the other pet libro I had so I'd reset it often. My cats knocked stover a lot too, but the product is promising and worth the price

I wish it had a app that i could use to see if its running low or to set the times for feeding. It was really aggravating trying to set everything up. Other then that its pretty good my cats have already gotten used to the feeding time and there waiting. Lol

A Life Upgrade

The feeder has made life a little easier and there is one less thing to think about. My kitty is fed small amounts of food several times a day. With the automatic cat feeder, kitty is now fed consistently and she doesn't have to try to get my attention to remind me to do it. We adopted our senior kitty from the shelter and she had separation anxiety for several months. I decided to try the automatic cat feeder with the idea that it would give her a sense of security that she would be fed and didn't need to rely on me (or another human) for the food. Since I have gotten the feeder she is definitely more relaxed and has become more independent, spending more time snoozing in spaces she enjoys and not constantly sticking to my side. I definitely attribute the consistent feeder as part of the reason why she has relaxed and become more confident in her new home with us.

Conditioning

It is taking a while for her to change her trigger to eat from my action to the sound of the food dropping down and then a call from me.

So good we bought a new one, but it's already rusting

I like this automatic feeder, had an older version for our cat from amazon. Since we got another cat we decided to get another feeder, and it is nice that there's a few updates to it. They added a lid that latches closed which is great, but the screws keeping the push lock in is already rusting after washing it once before even using it. I'll probably try to find a replacement screw just to make sure that it doesn't contaminate the food or break off, but would like the company to switch to something more rust proof, especially for something that would get rinsed frequently.
