May work for a delicate dog or cat

My dog is 18 years old and 13 lb, with bad teeth, but this feeder lasted only 2 days. there is no real seal to the food compartment so the smells taunt her endlessly, she simply ripped it open. furthermore, on one out of three days in use, one compartment didn't open.

Not reliable

We bought 12 of these feeders and 4 of them do not work after only a few uses. Leaving cats hungry is not an option. They are also inconsistent with when they open. I noticed that several get hung up and only open when the cats or I bump them.

Very light duty! A once in a while feeder tool. If used on a deck or porch wind will easily destroy it. Timer is delicate and a bit off. Reliability?

Not sealed well enough

My cat was smart enough to turn the dial and open it, and also the ants get to it faster than the cat can, should be sealed better. But it does do it's job.

I love the old fashioned simplicity of this product, no digital issues that can go pear shaped

I used this for my little girls treats and it worked great. Practiced the day before and my fur baby used it without fear-she is 12 and quick to learn, especially when food is involved!

The timer is not precise

I wish these had worked out. I ordered 5 of them for our 5 cats, because feeding them on schedule is tiring, but I have two fatties who will eat all the food if I leave bowls out. Unfortunately, even when they are set at the exact same time, they open up at random times within about 30 minutes of each other. Also, if you touch it within 15-30 minutes of its scheduled time, it will open up immediately. My fat boys figured that out and would just open them all up early and eat everyone's food. Maybe I expected more from these than they are meant to offer, I'm just sad I spent so much money buying so many and they didn't work out. If this is just for a single cat, and you are doing like an overnight away, then these would probably work well for you.

Didn’t work even once

Bought this because my cat likes to wake me up at 3AM for food. Popped a brand new battery in and decided to test it to see if it would work ok. Set one for one hour and the other for 4 hours. Numerous hours later neither door opened! Even overnight nothing!

My dog loves this!

Works well for my small doggo. He needed multiple small meals during the day while recuperating and this was awesome while I was at work.

worked once then never again

Don’t waste your money. I used this one time and it worked. Then I went out of town a few months later and came back to two closed containers and a hungry cat. I used a new battery so it was a faulty item and not the battery.

Works as intended

I used these once when I knew I would be away for 24 hours for my three cats. The dial isn’t totally accurate, they didn’t all open in unison but they opened +\- 1 hour to what I turned the dial too. My cats were fed so I’m satisfied with this product. I needed this because I only intend on using this when I’m away overnight, so I didn’t need anything that fancy. I just wish they were a bit heavier so that my cats couldn’t swat them around while they try to bust them open.

Faulty - return imminent

We bought this last week ahead of a weekend away, to feed our cat later on the day we left as the catsitter wasn’t available until the following day. Only one of the two trays opened at the set time; we have tested it again and same thing happened so we will be returning the faulty bowl this week for a refund
