It will damage your dogs teeth

Looks good we'll made, but obstacles are too high, my dog could not get to the bottom of the bowl, also the plastic, you can hear teeth hitting the bowl not good . I rather go with silicone, I feed raw So I just spread it on and work like a charm .

Awesome Idea!

Although it says it's a 4 cup bowl, it seems like it only holds a hefty 2 cups of dog food. This bowl does however slow down my puppies eating habits. He wants to inhale his food, (he's the only one in the house), but I think he will slow down in time. He is only 4 months old and was adopted from a kennel with a lot of other puppies.

Only reason I'm giving four stars is because the description(I believe) does not reflect the dimensions of the bowl accurately for the bigger sized bowl. It is indeed wider than the raised feeder and I bought it specifically to sit into it because my shepherd is guzzler. However, I sit it right atop and he doesn't knock it over. Why? Because he's focused to SLOWING DOWN to eat his food due to the awesome star design. He actually has to think about how to get to his food. Not to mention it's hard for him to make a mess. I love it.

Slowed him down

This has been wonderful for my boy Arrow. He would eat so fast that he threw it all back up and before we could get to him, he'd re-eat it. Now, he still eats fast but slow enough that he doesn't throw up immediately after and can enjoy his food a little bit more.

I bought this bowl for my large dog who loves to devour her food and then head over to eat her brother's meal. The bowl does its job and slows down the eating.

Puzzle bowl

Does not work so well for Great Dane lips. Too close of puzzle lines. Kept hurting his tongue and lips trying to get good out.

This bowl defiantly works. Just was not for me. I found it difficult to wash and my dog getting frustrated with it. While it did slow his eating down a lot. Bowl overall just was not a good fit for us.

Awesome Bowl

I have an English Bulldog that eats so quickly that she has choked on her kibble and therefore needs a puzzle bowl to slow her down. I wanted to get her an elevated feeder, but could not find a puzzle bowl that would fit. This bowl works perfectly, since it's the right shape and not just a flat bowl.

Great slow feeder

I bought this slow feeder for our rescue dog who woofs down his food. It has helped to slow him down somewhat. I had bought the blue one before, and ran it through the dishwasher top rack per the manufacturer instructions this was okay. Unfortunately, it turned the coloring and created a odd white residue on some parts of the bowl. I did not want to use it any further in case it would make our dog sick. Chock it up to a lesson learned, I will hand wash from now on.

Great slow feeder

This is a great slow feeder for my little terrier-mix dog. He likes this one and it is the right size for his muzzle and mouth to get his food.
