Great cabinet for a great price!!

I love this filing cabinet! I got the white. I originally ordered the 2 drawer from another brand, but it was out of stock. I upgraded to this 3 drawer cabinet, and I'm so glad that I did. I definitely needed the 3rd drawer. It was packaged extremely well. It took about a half hour to put it together. We didn't run into any issues with the assembly like the other reviewer. Perhaps they changed the design this time around. It had no missing parts and no damage. I highly recommend it!!

Up until now I haven't had a problem with self assembly products. I may have received a defective filing cabinet. I followed the directions and assembled the filing cabinet without using the key at all, but it is locked shut (without actually being locked). So I did my best to try to reassemble/redo and it is just falling apart. And some of the screws don't hold parts together. I am planning on returning it but it is a big item and continues to be mostly locked shut. Update: determined to make this weighty item work, I went to Home Depot and purchased $10 worth of machine screws with nuts (#6-32) 3 sets. This stabilized the drawers and prevented the drawers from locking. The drawers were locking because they weren't stable. The M screws supplied (for the drawers) did not have nuts and basically fell out (as a result) making the drawers unstable. It still feels a little cheap, but overall useable with the machine screws. Also a power drill is needed, otherwise the M screws don't stay in other places either. You might want to consider replacing all the M screws with better machine screws with nuts. It's frustrating but makes for a better file cabinet.
