These scotch tape dispensers are very durable, you don't need two hands to pull tape out of the dispenser. They are not expensive and they come in different colors. I have 2 of them and we use them at work. You can even use it as a paper holder, to hold your paper down. The are refillable, just buy the tape and wala. 👍👍👍

HARD TO OPEN (It opens from the front)

IT OPENS FROM THE FRONT (under where the tape is dispensed). I tried and tried to open it from the back because it looks like there is a tab to lift. After finding out how to do it, I gave it to my wife to open and she started trying to lift the back just like I did. Very poor design. For me, when you say tape you are talking about Scotch brand tape. IT IS THE BEST TAPE IN THE WORLD! Just don't buy this dispenser.

Not only is Scotch tape my favorite tape to use but I find that their dispensers are the best. They're sturdy, which is excellent when I need to tape something, especially with the upcoming holiday season and wrapping gifts. I have one in my office, the turquoise one, and I have one in my living area, the pink one. They're easy to reload when you run out of tape out of tape and they make ceiling things up a breeze.

Great dispenser!

It is heavy enough to only have to use one hand and doesnt move. There are rubber grip pads on the bottom that keep it from moving as well. Not sure if I received a new model, but the tape is super easy to change. (there are other reviews stating they dont know how to change the tape) You just have to slightly move the tape backwards and lift, super easy.
