Little cute kettle.

Just make sure you place it in the center of the flame. I bought one a few years ago, my daughter mistakenly boiled water in a way that flame heated the red crown and a part of the crown melted. I still love it. It doesn't stop it from whistling. I just bought another to gift my daughter as part of her wedding gift.

Love my little Rooster Tea Kettle

I love the looks of this teakettle. It is so cute in my kitchen. I don't care for the "whistle" as it is really not a whistle. it will certainly call you from anywhere in the house when you know what it sounds like. I thought something was on TV. It is a roaring sound. But, I love the way it looks and I can certainly handle the whistle. It makes you want to turn it off, which is what a whistle is for, right?

I absolutely love this kettle! I love the rooster theme, especially for the Fall season. The seal is good with no steam escaping around the lid, and the whistle is great, more of a humm than the obnoxious screaming kettles that i've had before. Janet Marie
