High hopes, not terrible just not my fave home coffee accessory

As a coffee enthusiast I though they’d be sturdier but I took a shot to see what the feel would be. also not end of the world but the lid to my carafe arrived broken :-(

funnel missing

where can i get an amber glass pour over funnel? the ones you had that would go over the top of a cup and hold a filter?

Excellent product poor shipping

Pour over carafe and glasses are amazing. However shipping was bad. Order confirmation email received 12/8/23, order was not shipped until 1/9/24, a month after ordering.

Don’t be fooled by its looks…

I unfortunately did not receive the order on time for the gift exchange I purchased it for which was disappointing (order took longer to process than advertised), but understandable due to having purchased it during Black Friday. Nevertheless, I decided to keep this for myself and purchased cone shaped filters as the product information suggests, but there seems to be something terribly wrong with this pour over coffee maker. As you can see from the video, the coffee maker literally spits out the coffee in sporadic splurts. I tried it multiple times, pouring the water in different ways/speed to make sure it wasn’t simply something I was doing wrong, but the result was the same: a very dirty counter and cold coffee. I emailed customer service, and they suggested buying coffee beans and a burr coffee grinder, which seems ridiculous to need to invest in after paying so much for the carafe itself.

Design is not tested enough with different filters

Same problem as Traci D described, especially the vacuum is created when using Hario V60 size 2 filter, it dramatically slows down the brew. The only work around I found so far is by using Chemex filter but Chemex filters are large.

Beautiful but super messy

The aesthetic of this is so nice, but despite everything I’ve tried after talking with customer service, this splashes coffee all over the place, and is definitely less effective than a chemex or typical pour over.

beautiful but not a functional pour over

I love this and don’t regret buying it at all but it absolutely does not work as a pour over. Once the filter is wet it clings to the sides of the top and creates a vacuum and the coffee doesn’t come through.

Beautiful but does not work

This is a beautiful product but functionally does not work. There is no air so the flow is not possible. Buy this for art, not function

Not Functional

Looks only. This pour over carafe is ONLY useful for looking good. Yes it is pretty but coffee cannot flow through it due to a design issue. I even emailed to ensure I was using their recommend filter and still does not work. This is style over function

The thing that I did not know I needed in my life!

I ordered the carafe in cobalt mainly because it is so beautiful. From the very first time I made coffee using this, I have been overjoyed and surprised at how good the coffee is.

So elegant but,....

I bought a cobalt blue.it is so elegant and it's great for decoration.but when I used it,it was so slippery that it was hard to pour coffee to cup.

The top doesn’t have any

The top doesn’t have any indents or ridges which leads to a vacuum being created with the glass and filter and the water passes too slowly. Looks cool, but functions poorly. A shame for the price. Take notes from your competitors.

I have not received my order!

I have not received my order so not sure why I'm getting this email

Beautiful but…

Flawed. The drip hole is too large so there’s not enough support for the filter and heavy coffee grounds, sometimes the filter breaks apart due to the pressure. Could be faulty filters but…also sometimes the cone and filter create a vacuum packed suction which then makes the coffee bubble up between the two and sputter all over the counter. Not every time but often enough that it’s frustrating. This pour over takes so long the coffee is no longer hot when just 1 1/2 cups are completed. My Fellow pour over is far superior. Sorry Yield, I wanted to love this because it’s so beautiful (green).

Gorgeous!

This carafe looks fabulous in cobalt blue. I look forward to my friend using it after the holidays—it’s his gift.

Form over function

I love the look of this beautiful carafe but I've been less than impressed with the functionality for brewing coffee. It seems its not compatible with any of the standard filter shapes/sizes that I can find at my local grocery store. Using as many as 3 layers of filters, if you try to brew a full carafe of pourover coffee will eventually cause the bottom of the filters to give out, dumping grounds into your brew. So, I picked up a reusable Mr. Coffee plastic filter to use instead, but its unfortunately not the right shape - if you set it in the top of the carafe and pour hot water over, it flows too fast causing hot coffee to bubble up underneath, which splatters on you and the counters, or pushes the reuseable filter off-kilter which, again, dumps coffee grounds into your brew. I have had to resort to holding the reusable filter by its handle, hovering over the top of the carafe so the coffee can drip freely. If you want a cute and convenient coffee setup, just get a bodum.
