The grill had numerous nuts and bolts missing, so I had to replace them from my supply. The ashtray does not come out very easily the opening in the grill cover to access the food needs to be larger to make it easier to get to the food, such as flipping hamburgers, other than that, everything was acceptable.

Exactly what I wanted, higher quality than I expected. Very pleased.

I was impressed with the quality of the materials used to make this grill. It is substantial and not the thin flimsy stuff that you usually see for products like this.

Not the best

After 3 month even with storing my grill under my enclosed porch the wood cracked and broke when I tried to move my grill. Also, it's hard to see any food on back of grate as you are cooking.

Found directions for this directionless female retiree challenging but coordinated with YouTube find with resultant process much smoother (Char-Grill should do one of their own complimentary to their customers). Email support responsive & helpful. I sanded then sealed the wood trim which aesthetically & practically made it a barrel keeper. Believe recommended oil routine per directions will be the key to preserving this grill charmer, an investment must for charcoal newbies or past dismal charcoal failures. This design totally makes sense in every way. Great job Char-Griller in this quality product.

A few problems

Appears to be a nice grill. Heavy. Like the cast iron grates and enclosed barrel which arrived assembled in one piece.

Assembly required but wasn't too bad. After constructed it's a very sturdy grill and a perfect size for our patio. I'm really impressed with how well it holds in heat. Still breaking it in. However the few things I cooked turned out great with lots of flavor. I can see this lasting a long time. Perfect size, great value m????

It was a gift for my brother. He absolutely loves it ! The size was perfect for patio. Easy to keep clean. The end product for anything grilled is exceptional

Wheels are terribly wobbly

Nice grill, but the wheels are terrible!! If they weren't wobbly I'd be satisfied with this grill.

Excellent except for cheap charcoal fire grate!

Excellent little charcoal grill with great cast iron cooking grates and a very cheap fire grate which will wear out very quickly. Replacement grates are expensive, so I'm exploring using expanded sheet metal instead for price and durability. Tip: Run cast iron grates through your ovens self cleaning cycle and they come out like new.

It was very difficult to assemble. Used once to smoke salmon. Was so hard to clean that I never could get rid of the greasy salmon splatters. The actual grill surface rusted after the first use as did many other parts. It was a waste of $100. I put it on the street with a sign saying “free grill” and someone took it away. I HATED IT!

Nice little Bar B Q. Heavier than I thought. Only problem with it is the wheels. Very flimsy, with its weight, the wheels are not as sturdy as they should be. From the wheels up, the design is great. Cooks well.
