Replacing It

Everything on installing this pump is great, other than the pressure switch really needs to face up not to the side. Makes installation limited for lack of clearance near wall.

This pump is exactly what I needed. It primed very easy and is quiet running.

Pump was easy to install. Pump was easy to prime.

Did not like the pressure setting switch 20/40. It should of had 30/50 or 40/60 which is what most households use. I myself use 40/60. You can adjust the switch but why should you have to do that on a 1 H.P. well pump. I took one star away because of the pressure setting switch which is only 20/40. They need to upgrade the pressure setting switch!

Conversion Gasket

The gasket did not seal and water sprayed out of the top of the connection. I had get a newer gasket from the mfg and insert it between two hand made gaskets to stop the leak.

Water Pump

Received the pump the gasket was folded installed it and the gasket blew immediately. Still haven't had time to get a new gasket. I ordered it for the ease and it wasn't could have rebuilt the old one just as easy.

1/2 Hp pump outperforms

This pump is a piece of garbage I had my 3/4 horse power pump go out and had to buy an 1/2 hp pump to replace it. I bought this pump because I wanted more water flow to the ban and the house because of low water pressure. This pump was a complete mistake it continuously loss of pressure and will only maintain about 5 PSI on its own. If you are looking to buy a pump don't buy this one go to tractor supply and buy one there for 100 dollars less. I will most assuredly be returning this pump was very much a disappointment.

This pump is a really pieces of...... junk, I am very disappointed with this item, is very small and is not 1 horsepower for sore, can't even make at 27 psi. I only give it one star because I can't give "0"

I HAVE GIVEN THE PUMP A FAIR TRIAL AND IT DID NOT PERFORM LIKE THE PUMP IT REPLACED. THE PUMP THAT IT REPLACED WAS A GOULD GT 10. SO I WOULD LIKE TO RETURN IT TO THE HOME DEPOT. AND GET MY MONEY BACK.I WILL THEN GET A REPLACEMENT GOULD GT 10

It has turned out to be a great shallow well...

It has turned out to be a great shallow well pump, reasonably easy installation some pipe alterations to make it fit the existing pressure tank.

Haven't really had to use it yet. Installed for irrigation...
