Poor Shipping

The pump arrived with a large hole in the box. I inspected the pump and didn't see damage but when I installed the pump it wouldn't run. My friend noticed that the back of the pump had been bent in. I bent it out again and it seemed to run fine. I hope there was no other unseen damage.

Great Pump. Reliable.

I ran this model pump for four years with no trouble. This winter the cast iron casing split during an exceptionally cold two week winter freeze. It was totally my fault for not insulating the pump house well. I bought a replacement pump exactly the same model. The swap out was easy. Note: be sure to switch the selector switch to the correct voltage 120 or 240 volts. Read the instruction manual.

Very quiet

My sister installed it and it doesn't leak. It's too quiet to hear in the house with it being in the basement. It's much quieter than my old pump. I'm happy with my purchase.

When we received the pump it was broken and not...

When we received the pump it was broken and not able to be used. With a pump like this we were not aware of the issue until we installed the pump and had it plumbed completely into the house and turned it on that we realized it was spewing water and did not hold pressure. We had to remove the pump by cutting the plumbing which cost us more money by having to replace the pluming. I was absolutely not satisfied with the product.

I was very impressed with the way the order was handled from the beginning, how rapidly it was received and the ease for installation.The only issue with the shipment was not from your company. fed-ex had dropped the package, ripped through the protective packaging, which was on the bottom of the package and had created a large dent in the pump, So far I have not seen any repercussions. So as far as your product and your company go I am very pleased.

pump leaked between the motor and impeller unit immediately upon running. Its a good pump but came defective. It takes some doing to hook it up, and it is demoralizing to do all that work just to find out I have to disconnect it all to return and replace it.
