Getting what you paid for

I bought this before reviews. The bracket is not made for 16” centers. I have one stud doing a lot of the work. Mounting hardware insufficient so drilled a hole in the bracket for the other stud. Rocks hard to pile. Flame cartoonish. >:(

Started on fire

Used 3 times and the 3rd time smoke started come out the top, the wire inside fireplace started on fire, our smoke detector went off and we were. Right there.

Easy to install, loved the rock features and the realistic flame and it provided a good amount of heat. The only negative I found was that the front frame did not come low enough to hide the cord very well. We ended up putting a zip tie on the bottom support and pulling the cord up as tight as we could.
