Good quality and comfortable.

I like to have a good back support in my chair and I like to sit tall with no leaning backward, so the ability to adjust the back support is a must for me. I also have no padding an my butt even though I'm a big girl. So the chair cushion needs to be comfortable. This chair does the trick. 5 stars.

DO NOT BUY THIS CHAIR

When I first opened the box I immediately noticed a pretty sizeable crack in the chair plastic. Since it seemed to be more of a cosmetic thing rather than a foundational thing, I decided to ignore it and I began setting up the chair. The instructions were very basic with only pictures showing you the steps. Once I was done, I noticed there were two pieces left in the box. They were not included anywhere in the instructions. I tried to take the chair apart to figure out a way to incorporate them, but it was impossible to pull the seat off of the "stand", if you will. I realized that they sent me a model of a chair with instructions dating back to 2009, which told me they hadn't updated anything but the two extra pieces (which were packaged separately and obviously just thrown in the box with another model of chair dating back to 2009). I am going to see about a refund considering this is not the chair I asked for as shown by the outdated instructions that ruined the setup of the advertised chair. DO NOT BUY THIS CHAIR.

Acceptable but not great

I needed a second drafting chair, but the Staples model I'd ordered a few months before and really like was no longer in stock so I chose this. It's not as good. Assembly instructions were horribly deficient, and the whole thing does not feel as sturdy as the Staples model (maybe that's because I mis-interpreted the assembly). It'll do the job, but I'd like to see the Staples model back in stock.

Drafters chait

Well built chair. Perfect for my wife's tall sewing table. Happy wife, happy life. Very easy to put together, only need a Phillips screwdriver.

Great Chair for the Price

We ordered this chair for a employee who had moved to a standing desk that needed to be able to sit on occasion. She said the chair was very comfortable. Having had back surgery recently the adjustable lumbar support was very good for her back. The chair was very easy to put together. We are very happy with our purchase and would recommend this chair.

Very Nice and Comfy Drafting Height Chair

My only complaint is that the directions were really just a list of parts. It was fairly easy to figure out, but would have been more helpful if it had actual directions.

Need to correct directions!!

It would have been a great chair if there were directions on how to install the footrest. There was a set of pictures to put this chair together and they did not even show the footrest and how to install it. I tried various times to get it installed. I RETURNED IT!

Nice chair!

Just like previous comments that I read, the instructions do leave out the part about where/how to add the foot bar. For me this was the most important because without it the chair is just a standard height desk chair. Overall I like the chair and do not regret buying it. It is pretty comfortable and I love that I can adjust the height since I use this for my built in desk in my kitchen.

Good chair for the money.

I had been sitting on the hard stool that school provided and it was miserable. Now I can sit all day without any problems. This chair is comfortable. I like the ability to lock the back in the reclined position or leave it unlocked and you can lean back to where you are comfortable.

Awesome Chair

I use this chair/stool at the counter in my store. I've tried some other less expensive ones and have to replace them after 5-6 months. I can tell this one is going to last a long time. I'm a big guy and this chair is sturdy. It's extremely confortable and it adjusts to just about any preference.

Nice chair. But the instructions were not for this chair. It would be easier to assemble if the instructions were right.

No Assembly Instructions

Product contained no assembly instructions, parts list or even a picture of what the finished product should look like. There was a single page with pictures for a similar product and some extra parts (plastic sleeves) for that product. Assembly was pretty easy but it would have been nice to know if I assembled it correctly.

good value

I got a new sewing machine & cabinet and wanted to economize on the chair. This fits the bill. It is comfortable and decent looking. It doesn't roll on carpet very well, so I'll have to get a chair mat.
