Don’t buy this heater

I bought this heater during Covid so I could visit with my neighbor outside in the winter. I used it about 10 times. It doesn’t put out much heat unless you are right up next to it. When I brought it out recently to use, it has developed a problem where it comes on, operates for about 10 minutes, then shuts off. It will not turn on again for days. Very disappointing for the price, It should last for years & years. To the landfill…

It was a great heater while it lasted

I used this heater in my garage periodically for 3 months. I loved it's space saving design and heat output. It started shutting off periodically when it was on for a while, I assume to cool down. Then it started shutting off

Customer Service Horrible

Ordered this item, should have been delivered two days ago, still no sign of it, tracking says “shippedl but no progress or tracking. Now on jkpermanent hold trying to get someone to look into it. Not very impressive.

[Rewarded Review] A lot of heat packed into a space saving heater

This is a tall slender heater that doesn't take up a lot of space. It works perfect for where I use it, in my garage. I have not used it outdoors so I cannot attest to it's heat output outside. It is an infrared heater that has 3 heat settings. Low will keep my garage at a comfortable heat. The high setting has a lot of output.The exterior of the unit does get hot to the touch on the high setting. It will turn itself off if it gets to hot. I bought my daughter one at a different store on clearance, after the winter season, for half the price I paid for mine through TSC. It was worth the price though. It has a weighed base that would make accidentally tipping it over difficult. It comes with a handy remote control but the user manual does state to unplug it when not in use. If you are plugging it in and unplugging it then the handiness of the remote isnt really applicable. If you're having to plug it in, you just as well use the buttons on the front of the unit to turn it on. 🤷‍♀️

Great item

Very excited I found this item ahead of the cold weather this Fall. I've always been worried about having a heater around my dog and kids. Since this item is electric, I dont have to worry about anyone getting hurt if this tips over! Wonderfully designed item.

Perfect!

I love that this is water resistant. This is perfect for chilly nights on the deck or patio. It's small enough where it doesn't take up my entire deck, yet powerful enough that we feel the warmth.

Very warm, and the vertical design is great

Heater provides excellent heat distribution at our patio dining table thanks to its vertical design.I actually had to move my chair further away because it was quite warm on a cool fall night. Haven't tested it in the dead of winter yet but impressed so far.

Easy to assemble, heats up quickly and up to 5 feet if no obstruction like a table, chairs or wind as it is a floor model. We chose to purchase a second one to heat the other side of our outdoor dining area.

useless

Bought this one and the oscillating one that has less wattage. This one barely gave off any warmth, sitting right next to it. I thought this was just a taller version of the oscillating one, but i was completely wrong. The short oscillating one however was great! Much more heat. Returned this one

Absolute rubbish

Bought this last year. Used it about 5 times and it now no longer works. Westinghouse want me to pay to ship it back to them. I do not have the original box or the transit spacers that secure the element. This will cost well over $50 to ship back. Home Depot won’t let me return it to them either. Complete waste of money.

Lots of heat if you are close to it

I bought this 3 weeks ago and have enjoyed sitting outside with it beside me. Toasty warm, but the heat doesn’t travel very far. Not sure what my electric bill will show, but it likely draws a lot of power
