[Rewarded Review] Fantastic look and temp gauge is a nice touch.

Installed the rainfall shower tower in a tiled master bath shower stall. The unit is 48 1/2 inch tall and 8 inches wide. I installed it over a single handle mixing valve and it covered the valve and shower head stem outlet. If the opens for the current fixtures were outside these measurement the unit would not cover the existing openings. I mounted it about a half an inch above the shower head opening and measured down to ensue full coverage. This was slightly higher than the recommended 10 inches above the tallest person in the house recommendation in the install guide. To find the mounting bracket position I measured up from the bottom of the unit to the bottom of the wall bracket I temporarily held in place on the shower unit. Then marked the wall. I used a 1/4 inch tile drill bit, applied silicone to the wall anchors and screwed and leveled both brackets in place while the silicone was still wet to prevent any water leaks. The unit was shipped with the top rainfall needing to be installed. I used the included Phillips screws and nuts to mount it. I had to remove the 6 screws holding the top cover in place, hook up the water supply line and and reinstalled the top cover. The assembled unit isn’t that heavy, guessing 15 - 20 pounds. I was able to install the unit by myself but having a friend help wouldn’t be a bad idea. Leaning it on my shoulder I screwed the water feed lines in place and slide the unit onto the mounts. Of course you have to remove the old fixture and prepare the supply lines based on what existing plumbing you have in place. I cut out the old valve, cleaned the 1/2 copper lines and used a quick connect fitting.

[Rewarded Review] Great system that uses a direct supply line hookup-Great for Outdoor Shower!

The unit was well packaged in some protective cloth sacks to prevent any shipping damage. There are two primary parts, the rain shower and then the wall panel. There is a small box with all the hardware to mount this unit to the wall of the shower and it doesn’t require a valve, but only a supply line standard hookup for both the hot and cold water. This made it ideal for our outdoor application. The body jets come out directly against the body and cannot be adjusted! Everything is wired together already so you are just connecting the overhead rain shower to the wall panel. The temperature display requires 2 AA batteries, and you are good to go. Hook up the supply lines then hang it on the wall. There are no direction on how to connect the top to the wall panel but it’s simply a matter of removing the 6 screws on the top, then using the supplied nuts and bolts that are in the hardware box, then re-install the top panel with the screws you removed. The finish of the item and well done and strong and all the controls appear to be brass on the inside. If you are looking to install an outdoor shower for a pool area, this could be a good option! It even looks finished outside on our patio. Waiting on adding a point of presence water heater to this so we can have both hot and cold water running through it!
