Great Flush Mount Entryway Light

Love how the flush mount light looks. Also it's really sensitive to movement so that it turns on automatically, which I like a lot. Definitely recommend buying this one.

Well Built Product

Excellent product, manufactured and assembled very well. All metal housing makes it a very durable and quality product. Very easy to mount and is accompanied by easy to read instructions. Overall very satisfied with this purchase.

Motion sensor did not work

I ordered this light after reading some great reviews on it. I hired an electrician (who I have used for several other jobs in the past) to install it when it finally arrived, and unfortunately the sensor did not work on this unit. The electrician tried a number of different troubleshooting ideas, and read the manual from back to front and concluded that the sensor was defective on this unit. He said I could either pack it back up for return, or he could set the light to be on all the time (effectively, just using it as a regular light fixture, not as a motion activated light), which of course defeats the purpose of this unit entirely.It's very unfortunate as I had to pay the electrician for his time which I am now out, and will have to hire another electrician when I get a replacement unit. I understand that I just had a defective unit and i'm sure a replacement unit will work correctly, but the cost of the electrician was more than the cost of the light, and so this was a considerable loss for me, and the cost will only further accumulate when I receive a new light to install. Less

Motion sensor is inoperative.

Light will not turn off, day or night. All settings/wiring on the motion device have been adjusted accordingly. Construction is good enough, but the motion sensor is defective. This is the only reason I purchased this fixture. Cannot recommend due to the sensor failing right out of the box.

Porch light

Seems to work fine. Disappointed you can see the bulbs and wiring thru the frosted glass when it is illuminated.

So far, so good

I was surprised when this arrived that it had a "Dual Bright" feature, because I have been looking at wall mount lights for another location and didn't want that. This light lets you turn that off, or 3 hours or 6 hours or dusk to dawn. So I can basically disable that feature and just have motion, which is perfect. I only need a porch light on when someone is moving. When first installed I thought I might do 3 hours, and had a lot of flickering (I did buy LED bulbs and they may not be dimmable so that could be the issue). Anyway, I flipped it to off and set the time to 5 minutes and so far, it turns on when I open my front door, or when I approach from the sidewalk. Yeah!

Looks great!

Mostly easy to install. It was a little hard lining the holes from the fixture to the screws from the metal bracket. Works very well and looks great! Definite upgrade from what was there to begin with. Has different time settings for "always on" mode. The light does brighten from "on" mode to when motion is sensed. Keep in mind it uses candelabra based light bulbs (E12).
