Wrong product but I made it work.
I have a box mounted on the garage with 2 spotlights and a motion detector. The built in photo cell failed. I had solved the same problem with another installation using a swivel mount photocell eye. But I saw this for about half the price. It works but I did not think about how to mount it & it took a little imagination & a lot more time to make it work. Also the installation is not NEC compliant. Because it's mounted where light emanating from the back of the bulbs turned the lights off within a second after coming on, it took constant movement to keep it on. I solved this by painting the backs of the bulbs with flat black heat resistant paint. Fortunately, it's in a place where the wiring is not visible.

This product can be installed in less than an hour and works flawlessly.

This Photocell Has a Time Delay
This photocell is what I should have bought the last time I had to replace it. If you get one that doesn't say it has a "time delay", don't buy it. Otherwise, when dusk comes, it will keep turning on and off until it gets real dark.
