[Rewarded Review] In The Shade

So happy we found these on sale! I have been looking for months to find matching sets in the different lengths for the two different size windows in our living room. The blackout is perfect and insulation ability works great. Superior quality and value!

Bkue and white guest bedroom

I wanted to perk up the small guest bedroom. New quilt has blue and white pattern. Blue curtains are a complementary blue, softer color and different fabric finish. Restful, fresh look for small room. Cream colored walls.

GORGEOUS color aaand that's about it

I went with 4 stars because I wish they blocked more light. I also noticed they felt warm to the touch on a sunny day, so they don't insulate very well either. I chose these because they came in a color I was looking for. I had something very specific in mind, and these were as close as I could get. I love the color enough to tolerate the aforementioned issues.

[Rewarded Review] Not the same as what I get in the stores

This was not your regular Eclipse curtain panel I am used to. The color Ivory was the sane. But, the material was thinner, the top stitching was smaller the overall quality was below what I get in the stores. Also, it was not 42" across. It was 37". I am not sure what is going on. The packaging did not even list the width. Usually, Eclipse is an excellent curtain. I am not even put this up next to my other panels. It looks inferior.

Impossible to get the packaging wrinkles out

The curtains are a beautiful color. The backing is a nightmare. You cannot dry the curtains or the backing sticks together, causing "holes" in the blackout. When I tried to iron the packaging wrinkles, the backing melted, even on the lowest setting. Now both panels are ruined and we're stuck with the product.

Great quality for the price

Great look and quality. Nice texture and falls great on the rods. Would buy again. Room darkening. Had to sew the top pocket smaller for my preference. Would be find with larger curtain rod. I would definitely buy again.

Eclipse Kendall Blackout Curtain

These curtains were just what I needed. The fabric weight is just right and the color was as it appears in the photo. They just needed a bit of ironing when I took them out of the package. They were a good value and I think they will hold up very well.

Irons well

Ironed well. I use multiple panels for a fullness effect. For instance, on a 48” width (rod), I bought 6 panels. The secret is more panels for fullness.

Keeps sunlight and heat out of west facing room

These are essential for protecting your house from the hot Florida sun. Used on a West facing window. Keeps the sun out and keeps the room cool. I realize that our plantation shutters (destroyed in the hurricane) let a lot of heat in. I think I'll keep the blackout curtains. Easy to pull back during the day. Clean, fresh look.

Okay curtains!

This curtains do keep the light out! There’s a teeny tiny bit of light that does show, but I like that they do the job. But the wrinkles from packaging stayed in mine, even after washing them. I think the people who review this as not keeping the light out, want it absolutely pitch black which these don’t do. So there not lying these let in about 95% of the light.

Mismatched curtains

Bought 2 panels of the same color curtains and they’re completely different shades of pink? As you can see from the packaging they both have the same sku number and are labeled the same color yet are completely different. Super disappointed! Also they’re supposed to be blackout curtains… they’re literally leaking sunlight. Complete false advertising!

Curtain panel for door's window.

Exactly what I wanted to block light coming throught the window on my door. I use it with a magnetic curtain rod and I can easily take it down. I've even put it on the outside of the door when the weather is nice just because it looks nicer from the inside.. This curtain has a wide pocket that will fit a wide curtain rod. It blocks the glare on my TV and offers security. I ordered a neutral beige color - doesn't match anything but can easily be taken down. It covers the window approx. 22 x 65 inches with a few inches to spare in the width. Really glad I bought it.

Blackout Issue

I love the rod pocket style as grommets I find are hard to sometimes work with. The quality of the fabric is very nice, pricing was excellent (again, Kohls cash was very helpful too!) but the blackout capability was a disappointment. Once the sun came out, the curtains shined a light yellow rather than the cream color I ordered. This does not radically upset the bedroom colors, but too often I find this to be true as many blackout curtains still allow sunlight through. Curtain manufacturers need to address this.

Doesnwhat was needed!

I have a window that provides a really bad glare against my television as they reside on opposite walls. I ordered these in gray and I installed them in the later evening that they were received. I was hopeful that they would do a good job based on the backing that I saw. When I woke up the next morning, it was to one of my children walking into the room and saying "whoa... that's amazing" and to my second child who came in and said "there is absolutely no glare on the TV" What is important to know about my room set up is that I only covered one window, and I have two other windows that are off to the side, but still service the room and it was noticeably darker and perfect. My boys were so happy to play there a PS5. I will gladly leave either an update, or a new review based on the curtains that I installed in my room. That will come in the next couple of days.

Super happy with them!

I needed a curtain for a room with west-facing windows, since when the sun moves around to that side it's really bright. These do the job wonderfully. The color is the only thing not perfect; it's more grayish-blue than the photo shows. But I'm happy with them anyway. They were wrinkled, so I tried ironing them on low heat; however, it was making tiny holes in the fabric. So I threw them in the dryer on the Quick Fluff setting for 10 minutes and that worked great.

Great Value - What A Surprse

These drapes are a great value! The texture is nice and great for a secondary bedroom or living area. I was surprised by the quality given the price but that's a good thing. I purchase to match a grass cloth wallpaper and the color was spot on. Well worth the price for a great look.

Do this for the best results.

They came quickly but deeply creased where the folds were from the folded packaging, so their being all plastic I thought I would rinse cycle them in the washing machine and hang them out to get the wrinkles out. They came out of the rinse cycle with a lot of black mystery substance deposited all over like dirt; some kind of coating that precipitated out in the rinse and redeposited on the front and back. So I hosed and scrubbed that off. I again hung them. It reappeared. I hosed again. I again hung them. All clean now, pretty much. After a whole week of hanging up in the 100 degree temperature on my clothesline outside had made NO change in the creases. I brought them in and ironed them carefully with a cool iron. Now they are flat. If you do all these steps, they are a good curtain for blackout.

Beautiful curtains, great quality, great price.

These curtains are really nice quality and beautiful! I ordered for my bedroom windows. I have room darkening shades along with these and they keep the light out pretty well, but not 100%. What I ended up doing was buying some full black window clingies and covered my entire windows to stop light from coming in (I have chronic insomnia all my life so every little bit of help to get proper sleep, is a big deal for me). The curtains cover the black window clings, and I ended up removing the darkening blinds and it works perfectly! The beautiful curtains hide the black clingies and the black clingies remove 100% of the light. I’m very happy. Also, I used 30% off coupon so got them at a great price.

Good Curtains!!

Ok. It appears that the light gets thru on the lighter colored curtains. I was really surprised by some of the light colored reviews. I have the darker blue ones in my livingroom. I do have a very light sheer curtain underneath, more for looks than anything else. The darker colored curtains DO BLOCK OUT THE SUN. They made a HUGE difference this past summer and the room is darker. I then bought the green green ones for my bedroom. Can you find better ones? Probably, but l doubt for the same price. For the folded up wrinkles...ugh! I hung up the curtains and they were almost stiff. I used a water bottle and heavily sprayed them down making them wet and then let them hang dry. It seemed like gravity helped to pull out the wrinkles. I did wet them down a couple/few times. It took maybe a week?? Two?? I don't remember, but all the fold wrinkles are gone now and the curtains look great. =)

Excellent thermal properties. Great size range.

Fabric is great and the range of sizes is excellent. We live in an older home with windows that are drafty and not of standard size. These block the sun on those Sacramento Valley hot days keeping the bedroom cooler in the afternoon and darker so those afternoon naps are easier. The material is nice an neutral with a bit of a texture. Just don't wash them on anything but cold water, gentle action. I did and this is why I bought the same curtains again. Glad you still had them in stock.
