Ive been using this model of case for my 7th Gen iPad for 4 years and it is holding up very well. I needed to buy another one for a new ipad 9th gen and this case fits perfect.
Excellent case
Excellent sturdy case, great color and has a nice smooth feel. iPad fits in it perfectly. I upgraded my iPad and immediately ordered this case, as I had it on my old iPad and it was extremely durable and well made, definitely a brand to trust.
[Rewarded Review] iPad protective cover
The Targus Pro-Tek Tablet Case is a totally tuff as nails protective cover. It fits like a glove and provides 1st rate protection. It allows me to position my tablet in both a vertical or horizontal position. I’m very pleased with my purchase.
Really enjoying the case
This case is really nice and feels really smooth. I also like the anti microbial feature as one of my older cases started to rot away slowly, but this one is doing a whole lot better. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is that when I lay it flat, it wobbles. I can only keep it from wobbling by putting the front cover of the case under the iPad, getting the magnetic clasp, and sliding it in between the back of the iPad and the front cover of the case. Other than that, it’s a wonderful case for the iPad.
Exactly what I wanted
I was looking for a rugged, simple case to protect my new iPad (Gen 9) without spending a lot of money. I looked at a half dozen or more in person, probably more on line, and this is the ticket. Works nicely as a horizontal stand, my keyboard fits right in front of it. It's already hit the floor from counter height without damage. Glad I got it.
ALMOST a great case!
Got the case on sale at Best Buy, good start. I was looking for a rigid, stable, protective case for my new iPad 8 & this one looked (and is) good. However, 2 design flaws remove it from the perfect list.
[Rewarded Review] Pro-Tek Antimicrobial iPad Case
I acquired this product about two months ago. I was pleased with the fit on my device. It fit snugly and was easy to put on. The device screen was protected and fully visible. I also liked these the material that it was made of. It made it almost non-slip on smooth surfaces. The one thing I did not like was the “prop-up” feature. It was difficult to initially figure out and not as stable as other I have used in the past. Overall it was an adequate product.
[Rewarded Review] Love the Antimicrobial feature!
Love this case! Especially for the antimicrobial feature. The kids are constantly touching the iPad and its always a mystery where their hands have been, so it gives me great peace of mind that the case is helping protect the spread of germs. It is easy to get on and easy to use. The folding feature does not get in the way while using it and the magnetic closure helps secure the screen while traveling with it. Overall a great designs, amazing features, and very functional.
[Rewarded Review] Heavy duty case!
I am reviewing he Targum Pro-Tek Ipad case. I am in love with this case. Well constructed case. It protects your iPad perfectly. The case it’s self can be wiped off easily. It’s got antimicrobial protection infused in the cases surface to help keep your case cleaner. If you are like me, I use my iPad daily. Love to have a clean case. Plus the stylus holder supports your iPad perfectly. Ipad fits snag in the case with a magnetic closure.
[Rewarded Review] Solid Case
Got this case a couple weeks ago for my husband's iPad as he was in need of a new case and the sleek design fit his likes. The antimicrobial feature fueled my decision to get because he works in a ton of different locations and I never know what is on him and wanted to protect our household. The magnetic closure is quite strong and works great. With toddlers in the household it is necessary to have cases that help protect against bumps and drops and this has been dropped a few times and the iPad is safe and sound. Would have liked a built in space for stopping the iPad when used as a tripod propping it up to watch a movie.
[Rewarded Review] Love it!
I love this Targus iPad cover! The design is slick and appealing. The cover is light weight but I fully have the confidence in protection from it. It also has some slit air pockets to make it breathable and let some heat out for long iPad use. Great design and quality :)

Pros: Good drop protection on the corners--some of the best protection available. Works fine with Supershieldz screen protector. Cons: The back panel of the case is a rubber-like material and is not rigid. The front cover flaps around when open and does not fold back cleanly without effort. The case will not hold itself open/folded back because the closure magnet is too weak. The case blocks part of the camera lens portion of the iPad Pro 11 inch (2nd Gen.). This case is also quite heavy, with the rubber adding a considerable amount of weight to the iPad. Finally, the screen cover does not always sit flush when the case closes, calling into question its ability to protect the screen if dropped. I really wanted to love this case, but had to go with a different option. Dealing with the drawbacks of this case makes using the iPad more inconvenient than I am willing to accept given the device's cost.

I bought this case from Best Buy last year on sale cuz I needed good protection for my 10.5 iPad Air, and its provided very good protection, despite the case being bulky which sucks but it’s an excellent value for the money. The only complaint I have is where the Apple Pencil or stylus storage is located, it’s not the best neither is it great, it’s just ok. When I hold my iPad in landscape or portrait without the pencil is fine, but with the pencil, it’s just uncomfortable to hold the iPad with the pencil plus you have to lay the iPad in a specific way. Pros - - good value for the money - excellent drop protection Cons - - bulky - wrong location for the Apple Pencil
Very Nice Case 4 The Price!
I needed a case badly because iPad Pro 10.5" is Very Thin! Quick access to button is the only positive having No case. It is funny how heavy the case feels with iPad in it. I am glad it has easy button access! If one guy on the Tube had NOT played sound, I would NOT have bought it with Holes covered up! Some people have said closing it will NOT turn it off, at least on the Tube, but mine does. With my Super hearing at my age, I can hear it Click each time! I would have preferred Black, but I think it may have been sold by another store on Walmart for a little more. Other people's pictures show a Light Blue, but mine is Dark Blue. I think the material/covering is similar to the $200 Keyboard for iPads. I will have to be careful where I put it because my MBP gets fairly dirty with food, etc. One person hated it because he could NOT get it to stand up. You have to Center it right in the Middle where one(1) Line is. I set mine up on my couch, which is NOT sturdy and it was okay. And, as one person's picture shows, you can fold it back and stand it up that way. You cannot expect much for price of almost $30. I would buy again in future, but in Black color. The back Camera just does fit in the corner of cutout. Yes, it is a Good Buy!

First, I did not like this case for my 12.9 iPad. It was just clumsy & didn't work. For my 9.7 Pro, its perfect. Good price too! Has nice raised lip corners and full protection for all corners and sides, a stylus holder, feels very durable but doesn't add a ton of bulk. The best feature is that it rotates to portrait or landscape without the hole cutout over the Apple logo (just a pet peeve with those cut out cases). This is a great protective case that I feel my iPad is very safe from falls in.
No protection at all from 42†fall
I bought the Targus Pro-Tek from Staples based solely on the claim that Targus made that the case provided military grade protection from a 48†fall.
Good protection, too annoying to use
I sell this case at work all the time based on the looks of it and the protection. So I decided I should buy it and try it. It is very protective however a few glaring issues stand out to me even in the first day of use. The edges of the case do not come around the front of the iPad enough therefore it just pops off the iPad as it is a silicone rubber and does not have much to hold onto. The magnetic flap that holds the cover closed is not very strong so when you fold it around back as you do when you are holding the iPad it does not keep itself attached to the main part of the case the iPad is in. Therefore you have to hold it rather than letting the magnet do most of the work. If you don't hold your fingers high enough the crease in the cover makes the top part of the cover just flop down making it more awkward to hold and seemingly heavier because there is now more weight in the center of the iPad. If they would have used a stronger magnet on the flap or put a magnetic strip along the front of the cover and the back of the case where the iPad is inserted it would hold itself on better and not be an issue.

This is a decent case for the price. It is well made and rugged. Pros - cutouts are good - side, back, and corner protection seems good - the rotation feature is useful - the screen on/off works Cons - the case doesn’t allow the pencil to charge. There is actually a groove for it on the side for the pencil...and if you press down on the pencil it will start charging. Targus came so close. Next time get this part right. - the cover does not overlap the case edges. It fits inside the case edges when the tablet is closed. This means that the case is more compact when closed, but in my opinion it may provide less crush protection - the final con is actually the most problematic. The outside of the cover is actually a bit slippery. The ridges help prevent it from being difficult to hold when the case is closed. However the tablet is difficult to hold with the cover is turned back like a book because the front cover and back cover slide against each other.
